"This was a wonderful place. I would have made this a destination rather than a quick overnight into France. The building is charing and historic but with nicely updated rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and lovely farm views. The breakfast was wonderful. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. "We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a cold beer in the shade on a bench at the l'Étang, after walking through the beautiful garden full of blooms. The room ensuite with comfy bed was very clean, lovely and spacious. The delicious dinner was served under the pergola and very enjoyable together with other guests. Thanks for the hospitality. "It is a classic feeling French space that is spacious but just be prepared for things not to be at 4 star level. Full access to the kitchen is nice and you will have large downstairs and outdoor areas to use. If you have mobility issues avoid because of the circular staircase. Quiet area. "

"Séjour fantastique, l' auberge est un vrai havre de paix, elle est magnifique, dans son jus avec des chambres très spacieuses un jardin qui lui correspond parfaitement et ce calme absolu on entend que les oiseaux. Concernant la cuisine, retrouver les plats authentiques avec une saveur que nous retrouvons que très rarement et à savoir qu'ils sont preparés qu'avec les producteurs des alentours. Les prix sont très corrects. Bref un séjour qui est marqué dans notre agenda et que nous referons sans...

"Very quiet environment, b&b with seperate entrance for guests and 2 double bedrooms with each a private bathroom tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, spaciuous shower. On a lower level towards the garden and private parking you find a little kitchen where breakfast will be served. Very friendly & helpful owner, spotless clean, great comfort. Many restaurants within 10 min drive in St.Avold. Highly recommended."
