Return from Laguna San Ignacio, stayed at this LOVELY boutique hotel. Excellent accommodations. Continental breakfast served at 8am: Yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, warm toast and excellent coffee. Love this place.

We had a really lovely stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The little kitchenette had everything we needed, which was a nice touch. This is a boutique-style hotel, so there’s no elevator — not a problem for us, but something to know if stairs are an issue. We ordered the continental breakfast and it was simple but tasty. A quick note of confusion: I originally thought I’d booked the other Posada on the town square (the one with the pool). Turns out the names and photos are super similar, so double-check before booking. That said, it ended up being just fine without a pool. There’s also a bakery in the lobby that sells amazing pastries — if you can actually get them! The locals call in orders ahead of time, so the best items sell out before they even open. We tried several times with no luck, but it’s clearly popular for a reason. The front desk lady was very kind and professional, though you’ll need to ask for what you need — she’s not one to volunteer extra info. And if you park in their lot, make sure to get the padlock key or you’ll be stuck. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again. Just a few quirks to be aware of — but that’s part of the charm.
Easy stairs up to the second floor, wrapped in beautiful foliage. A peaceful little climb that adds to the charm of this boutique hotel.
View from our doorway — we had the place almost to ourselves during our stay, so we often left the door open to enjoy the quiet breeze and relaxed vibe.

Aunque la.habitacion era pequeña, el baño era muy amplio, estaba todo muy limpio y nos ofrecieron un pequeño desayuno, el centro donde hay muchos restaurantes estaban muy cerca fuimos a píe, el malecón también muy cerca y fueron muy amables los encargados del hotel boutique.

This was the second time I stayed at Posada del Cortes, a different room with slightly different set up but equally lovely. The beds and linens are comfortable and crisp and the small balconies are a lovely addition to the rooms. There is also an upstairs patio with a shade structure and a lower courtyard with fountain and flowers. Everyone is helpful and very friendly. Wonderful!

Very nice property. Staff was excellent. Room well kept with made service every day. Breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. Lovely rooftop area for viewing the sea of Cortez. Bakery located right across the street sold their baked goods in the lobby of the hotel. Baked goods were excellent.
