"This was our second stay at the Resort. It was just as great as the first time. People are friendly, great Darby's Tavern makes you feel like you are in the era. The mansion is very interesting to look around in and the grounds are fabulous. Last butnot least, the staff are friendly and aim to please! We really do recommend a stay, especially if you want to relax and just chill!"
"The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and nice, and the complimentary breakfast was a plus. Definitely coming back with the kiddos next time "
"Clean, comfortable and quiet. We stayed here the first night of our journey to Norfolk, Virginia. Convenient to the interstate with several restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast!"
"Everything was very good about our stay. My only issue was with the pool. It did not have a ladder that reached to the bottom. It stopped short about 10 feet. So I needed help in order to get into the pool. Also it was worst trying to get out because there was nothing to pull myself up with. "
