「The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect...

「We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival and attentive service throughout our stay. Room was brilliant, lovely character and very warm and cosy. All amenities we needed for our stay. Wonderful choice of hot breakfast dishes which were cooked and presented to a high standard and accompanied by fruits, yogurt, nuts, seeds, toast, preserves etc etc. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful charming hotel and will definitely stay again when in the area. 」

「Visually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast … we’d booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something. But overall we had a very good stay and would return.」

「We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...
