Dozens of giant sequoia are neighbors to the General; the half-mile downhill trail into the Giant Forest offers access to the General and all the beautiful and hardy creatures. I was in a nicely recently renovated room with a nice bathroom shower, comfortable King size bed, Microwave, large refrigerator and a TV with many channel choices. Pleasant experience, walking distance to dining and shopping. It will be my first choice when in Lone Pine.

Convenient place to stay when traveling along the 395, The room was basic, but comfortable. My only complaint is the road noise as the motel was right on the 395 so I could hear the traffic all night. I would stay here again, though, if I needed a place to stay in the area.

If you're exploring the areas of Lone Pine (e.g. Alabama Hills...etc.) this is a great place to stay. Nice views of the Sierras from their Annex building in the back. Clean rooms, everything worked. Can't complain.

A solid option for access to Death Valley

This is an older motel, but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Its an wasy walk to food option. Highly recommed the Totem pole for a solid tasty meal. Theres a supermarket as well, and a laundromat in town.

This property was super clean, I was expecting a low grade motel for the price. That was not the case, room was extremely nice, bedding was clean and cozy. The check-in process was smooth and quick, 5min max. I’d definitely stay here every time I’m in the area.
