I spent 2 nights here. The location is very convenient for the city with ample parking. The room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed. Extra supplies of toothpaste, shower gel etc in case you forget anything. Bed was really comfortable. I didn't use the breakfast facility so can't comment on that. Would definitely return😃
The view from our room was of the sidewall of a storage building, and a garden. The host never greeted us in person. It was impossible to know, when inside the room, if the room was locked or not to people outside the room. The bathroom door provided no acoustic privacy and was a slider and was unfinished on the bathroom side with no knob or handle. The room was clean and inexpensive and seemed to be in a safe location. The instruction to unlock the room door upon arrival, were inaccurate. The automated checkin process had my name, but someone else's email listed and was difficult to figure out.

We could not even get into our place that night and the number to call is no good. We had to find somewhere else to stay. Horrible
Electronic check in via a pad. Ours didn’t work, but checked in and out via phone. Not walking distance to shops or pubs. Need a car to stay there. It worked well for us
I would highly recommend this hotel, the room had everything you needed ,very clean and spacious and the beds were so comfortable.the owers were absolutely lovely especially jimmy ,went out of his way to help us and talking his time to take me and my children to and from an venue we were booked into as it was raining ,then again ater for our evening meal ,such a true gentleman. Thankyou jimmy we really appreciated your kindness and we will definitely come back if we visiting londonderry again 😊
We selected this B&B for its location near family. It was less of a B&B and more of a lodge - we didn’t interact with any staff (entry to the building and room were both by keypad codes) and we didn’t have breakfast (not sure if it was offered?). The room was nice and the bathroom was clean and everything worked. Our only negative feedback was that despite the kind sign on the front door asking guests to not slam it, it literally slammed, really loudly, ever time someone entered or left, and we were in one of the two rooms next to the front door. Otherwise, a good stay, though impersonal.

I booked this bed & breakfast in the states before my long trip. A few days before I arrived for my stay I received an email from the owner stating that I booked at the room only rate and breakfast would cost extra. This in itself would be enough to make me want to cancel my stay as breakfast is in the name. However check in is done via entry code and a tablet because there is no staff on site so receiving the wrong room type then what I booked can not be fixed. So my nephew ended up sleeping on the floor. Also there is not complimentary bottled water as advertised and the TV is not 32" as advertised. I would recommend that you save yourself the trouble and book a different place for a better price than this so called B&B.
Overall it was not a great experience, we would not stay there again. Upon arrival the property is not very inviting but you do receive the front door code by email. We entered, but then struggled to get into our room. Although the room code was emailed to us, the numbers were almost completely rubbed off the keypad, so we had to try for about 10 minutes before we finally got in. Once we arrived, the room was quite small, and there were small bits of debris in multiple areas. The nightstand on one side of the bed was broken off of the wall and missing, and the lamp was just sitting on the floor. There were multiple damprid containers to pull moisture from the air in this one small room which makes me wonder if they had water issues? We tried to check in on the tablet as they requested, but it was dead and wouldn’t power on. I tried plugging it in using a different cord and hub that we brought, and it would flash low battery, but never could get it to power on. That tablet is also how you are supposed to order your breakfast and check out, so we could do none of those things. I called the phone number listed for the property and it said it was disconnected. I emailed the property to check in and give our breakfast order, and didn’t receive anything back. Our room’s view was of the small parking lot, and we never got to see any good views, because I assume the breakfast area is the only place with a good view. We booked mostly for the view and the breakfast and got neither.
We were treated very well by staff, the room was very clean and tidy.

Disappointed...
The owner seemed nice enough for the short interaction we had with him, however, the property didn't measure up to normal expectations. Check-in and check-out was problematic because of technical glitches with their app. The biggest disappointment was that breakfast was NOT included for this "Bed and Breakfast". You had the option to order breakfast, at a cost that seemed too high. Also, there was no follow-up by the owner after the initial hello (by happenstance, rather than by design), so it was unclear what the process was for finding the common space, breakfast arrangements, etc. Even if we had ordered breakfast, it was unclear where we'd go to partake of the meal. The entire experience was a bit odd, and we left Elagh rather disappointed.
The room was good- clean, comfortable, with a great shower. But none of the electric sockets worked for us. When we checked in we were supposed to get codes in advance so make sure you do! We didn’t and had to disturb someone on the premises to help us out. The tablet for check in and out wasn’t great- they ask you to write “bye” in the chat but if you complete the check out on the tablet you won’t be able to write anything in the chat. So make sure you do it before you check out.
It’s about 15 min drive to Londonderry city center.
First of all I oreder it very late on that night and was very happy it had been approved.
I immediately got a text message with all the entrance codes so basically no human touch is needed here. We ordeered a twin room. The beds were cosy. Bathroom was small but very accurate for human needs as well as the small laptop and coffee/tea machine. Parking in the front yaed is very comfortable. I can't tell about breakfast because we had to leave early morning
A well appointed property if you have transportati
We had electronic communication issues which made access difficult initially. The on-site manager/owner later apologised for the difficulty and Connor sent us details via email (which were unable to receive until much later when our service provider came ‘on air’ once again. But for these issues the property is modern, well appointed and clean; however, it definitely requires your own transportation to make it a convenient location for city sightseeing.
The property was beautiful , and quite spacious for a family room, however was disappointed to find that on arrival the bed and breakfast was bed only and breakfast wasn't included in the price. This was extra and came up quite pricey .
Elagh View was excellent, very helpful family, lovely location and peaceful. Hire car is recommended as breakfast is served down the road and the accommodation is quite a way out.
Place should have been quiet but first night workers were working till 10 pm. Rooms are close together you hear all the comings & goings. Unit was small but clean and up to date. Nice man took us to nearby pub thanks.

Very basic, small room and toilet facility. Managed, automated service. Ok if you want a bed for a night and not interact.
Wasn’t my idea of what an Irish Guesthouse should be, so not for me!
Spent two nights (Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June) to run Derry city walled marathon. Our host (the owners son, sorry don’t know his name) was very pleasant and helpful. I could not fault this accommodation, it was clean, neat and tidy and fitted our purpose perfectly.
