Dear Alexander,First and foremost, may I take the opportunity to thank you for taking the time to give us such much appreciated and valuable feedback following your recent stay with us here at The Egerton House Hotel. I am pleased to hear that you encountered a warm and friendly welcome upon your early arrival to the hotel and that even though your room was not ready, our drawing room and bar area offered a comfortable and relaxing retreat whilst enjoying a drink. However, I am disappointed to hear that even though you found your appointed room to be beautifully decorated, you found the bathroom too small and the shower frustrating and too low. More importantly, I am genuinely sorry to hear that you experienced a uncomfortable and disrupted sleep due to the fluctuating room temperature and the issue you had with your mattress, which is truly regretful to say the least. In addition, I am also sorry if you perceived the initial response to your complaint as non-urgent and complacent which characteristically is not a response I would expect of any of my dedicated team who always pride themselves in going the extra mile to ensure the comfort and well-being of all of our guests. Overall, it pains me that you left the hotel on your departure date disappointed and perhaps felt that you have not received value for the money you have paid. Keeping all of the above issues in mind, I therefore kindly invite you to get in touch with me directly at the hotel if you wish to discuss your guest experience in more detail.
