This guest didn't raise any issue during his stay and the shower works absolutely perfectly. Unfortunately this guest didn't speak any language and didn't try to communicate any problem to us. Perhaps he didn't know how to turn the shower on properly.

First and foremost we are a “small” budget hotel in one of the most expensive areas of London “exactly” as shown on our website, and Westminster Council forbids us having a lift, as we are an Elegant Listed Building of Historical Value (their room was on the ground floor). We have never had guests who blocked a toilet before – health and safety demand we inform guests if they ignored a problem caused by them, so we can investigate and correct it – this is good manners. We suspect these guest expected much higher standards and facilities and communicating with them was very difficult and unpleasant. These guests received 10 extra shower gels, 3 extra toilet rolls, and extra towels upon request. Our breakfast is usually well received by guests many of whom return often.

These were very difficult guests to deal with and should have stayed in a 4 star hotel with more amenities.

This man was very tall and very large. The small economy single room is the cheapest room in the hotel and usually used only by guests who want cheap accommodation with private bathroom ensuite and gets many returning guests. Towels are british standard size - toilet works perfectly - wifi works perfectly well in every room, the same as in reception and there are 2 working plugs in the room. The guest smiled passing reception and said how comfortable he was - he was moving to different hotel the next day as we were fully booked - he must be confused as none of this makes sense! ALL VERY ODD.

Blades hotel is a small 16 bedroom economy budget hotel ‘exactly’ as seen on our website. These guests must have not checked our website beforehand. We are based in pimlico which is a very expensive area of London, where we share the same postcode as the King, the Cardinal and the Prime Minister. The bathroom is British standard size - and there is a silver ‘clothes rack’ with many coat hangers, which all small hotels now prefer instead of wardrobes. Hearing people in hotels in other rooms is very common, there were no complaints from other guests and we rarely get any complaints of this kind. Well travelled guests know what to expect in this expensive area of London, and we get many happy return guests and we are often complimented on the cleanliness of the hotel. We were eager for them to leave the hotel because of their odd attitude and charged them for one night only.

We are disappointed to hear this complaint, as all of our windows close and we are always praised on the cleanliness of the hotel. We have had no previous complaints regarding any of our windows, and on double checking they do all close.

Our check-in time is 2pm - 10pm once you have your key you can come and go as you please - on your reservation form was the time of check-in and the time of check-out which is 11am.You did booked the single room which does have a double bed and not a single bed. This is central London everywhere in Central London has noise. You may want to think about booking a more expensive hotel in the future as opposed to a small budget hotel that does not suit your requirements..
