Great hotel! Nice pool, fabulous breakfast. Only problem was the work going on at the Excell looked unsightly, but no noise during our stay. I expect it will be completed in the next few months. Really good spot if visiting the Excell or O2.

For Excel it's the closest option but prices vary considerably. Communal areas are nice and the restaurant was a nice place for lunch. Rooms good, but feel somewhat dated and impersonal. Facilities in room are not particularly well thought out. Breakfast was mediocre.. good selection but the food quality was poor and whoever labeled items clearly couldn't care as jam and juices were incorrect labelled which was laughable... since when did orange and apple juice get so easily mixed up? The scrambled egg was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Check out was easy although very impersonal.

The Aloft is a really nice hotel to stay at if you’re in the docklands area. There is ALOT of building work going on so it can look pretty chaotic. The building work also means that you’ll have zero views but for us, that wasn’t an issue. The staff are all really helpful, the rooms and areas in the hotel are spotless. On the whole, I would highly recommend the hotel.

Expensive, for the poor amenities & house keeping and bad customer service. Water bottle kept but empty. Empty soap container in the shower. Not refilled even after reporting multiple times/ days at front desk. No action, except sorries. If we say something, they reply sorry, we are new to hotel etc etc.

Fantastic stay
Fantastic hotel to stay in! Small, if slightly chilly pool, sauna and steam room were a bonus. Breakfast was brilliant - so much choice, from mackerel to hash browns, pastries and mushrooms! Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Great Hotel
Great hotel. If you have any business at the ExCel center I would recommend that you stay here. This was a 100 feet walk to the entrance. Fantastic place and awesome staff

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, both TVs in our room kept freezing, making it difficult for us to enjoy our stay. Additionally, despite adjusting the heating temperature, it seemed ineffective.Moreover, we were disappointed to find that the steam room was not operational throughout our stay. Furthermore, our room lacked basic sanitary products that are typically provided in hotels of your caliber. We did not receive dental care items, water bottles, or body cream, which are essential amenities for a comfortable stay. I appreciate your prompt attention to these issues, and I hope we can find a resolution to ensure a more satisfactory experience for future stays.

Incredible stay for visit at excel
We came to stay as we were going to the Disney 100 Exhibition. This hotel had a lot of things that appealed to us including pool, sauna and steam room. We also had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant which was lovely. Shower was a great temperature and bed was good. We both really enjoyed staying here, staff were all very polite and welcoming. Despite being assured on the phone that my lacto intolerance could be catered for there was no food I could eat. I was volunteering nearby and survived on bananas and cup a soup for three days. Staff friendly, no training in dealing with autistic people. Noisy at night, shouting outside room early hours. No stair access to upper floors. No instructions on working lifts. Waste of money.

Great price and accommodations
Great price, great staff, close to the metro. We were a little far from most our destinations (West End London) but not that big of a deal. It was odd that there were no USB ports by the beds, just at the desk area. It was also strange not to have overhead lights in the bedroom area.

Super handy for Excel
We like this hotel overall, mainly because there is easy parking when driving up to London from the south coast and because transport links into the city are easy peasy on DLR and nearby buses etc. If you're attending Excel, you can walk out of the hotel on the 2nd floor and the Excel entrance is right there in front of you. But the interior designer who thought it was a good idea to put the wash basin outside the bathroom and all the towels, -inside the bathroom needs a check up from the neck up.

A bit dissapointed to know that the view of the swimming pool that was put on their website overlooking the river was a construction site. I thought a great weekend in London with swimming pool river view is ideal, well how wrong a I.😒 too far away from our plan, thats purely my mistake, I read wrong the distance from places.
