Never in my life have I ever been mistreated so poorly by an establishment. I was previously harassed and discriminated against at Motel 6 in Lompoc. Law enforcement was called and I was recommended I stay at the inn in Lompoc due to its availability, its affordable rates, and it being in a safer part of town. Upon arrival, I spoke kindly to the front desk associate and explained that I was fleeing a sexual abuse and domestic violence incident and my daughter and I were seeking refuse. Not only was I denied an early check in, I was forced to sleep inside of my vehicle in a city notorious for meth and gang activity. Upon waking up, my 8 year old needed to use the restroom. We walked to the front desk and was denied by the front desk associate who was very rude, made some racist remarks, and denied my daughter access to the facilities. She refused to look up my reservation and threatened to call the cops and have me arrested in front of my already traumatized and sexual abuse victim child. Moments later, the front desk agent called the police and canceled my reservation so that the mat force me off the property with my child. I will NEVER forget this kind of treatment because it was unbelievable. Truly devastated and triggered. As a recovering addict, single mother, sexual and domestic abuse victim, and full time employee in the hospitality industry, I would NEVER recommend this to my worst enemy and am in so much mental distress do to these incidents that I’m on the verge of r
