「Just brilliant. Le Grand Monarque was recommended by a friend in the UK who stays there regularly. He really did us a favour as it is a fabulous and very interesting hotel with exceptional staff (especially Natalie on Reception). The parking is great value at €7 per night and the breakfast was delicious and nicely varied. Located in the centre of the small town of Azay-le-Rideu this hotel is an absolute gem. 」

「Etape d'une nuit, bien situé par rapport aux visites de châteaux que nous devions effectuer entre samedi et dimanche. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants. Le jardin est agréable, la chambre très fonctionnelle, avec de nombreuses prises et un bon éclairage. Le matelas est top, la pièce bien isolée, nous avons trop bien dormi, malgré l'absence de volet sur la porte fenêtre, mais avec le rideau occultant qui s'est avéré efficace.
