Perfect for a family of 4 with kids being under 10. Room and bathroom were spacious. It is a little bit out of the way but is only a few minutes from a number of restaurants. There is a restaurant at the hotel as well if you feel like staying in. Breakfast was adequate with the typical German fare. It is also within 20 minutes of lots of activities. Staff was attentive and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

We stayed at this hotel for one night so as to be near our hiking destination the next morning. We made arrangements for late arrival which the staff made easy. However, when we arrived we found that there was no soap or shampoo in the shower and when we phoned about it the staff were rude about it and explained that they were not a two or three star hotel so could not afford to provide these in the shower. That is inconsistent with other hotels we have stayed at that charge 100 euros a night, no matter the star level. The bathrooms in both of our rooms were in need of updating and renovation. The shower head in our bathroom no longer stayed in position msking it frustrating to have a shower. The bathroom in my daughter's room still had dog hair in it from a previous guest. The bedrooms were in better shape but the curtain in ours was not large enough to cover all of the window. On the positive side, being out in the country it was quiet at night and the breakfast variety and quality was similar to the other hotels we stayed in this trip. At checkout the staff were apologetic about our issues but reiterated they "we are not a two or three star hotel" excuse. They did reduce the cost by the amount of the local tax, about 5 euros per room, as a goodwill gesture, but we would be unlikely to stay there again.

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage hier!Das Ambiente ist im modernen Landhausstil gehalten.Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet.Beim Frühstücksbuffet ist für jeden etwas dabei:Frisches Obst,Brötchen,verschiedene Auflagen,Joghurt...was das Herz begehrt.Das Personal ist freundlich und kommunikativ.Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel.Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder dort hin.

Im ganzen sehr schön und gemütliche Unterkunft Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das einzige was zu bemängeln wäre sind die dünnen Wände man hört die anderen Gäste. Egal ob husten normal reden oder sonstiges.

Særlig godt til familier

Et rigtig fint og autentisk hotel i et charmerende landområde. Vi boede på et super godt familieværelse med køjeseng til børnene. Hotellet er særlig godt til rejsende med hunde - hvis man har en sådan.

Übernachtung ohne bleibende Erinnerung

Nettes Hotel in mitten der schönen Landschaft im Hochschwarzwald. Überaus freundliche Begrüßung beim Check in und sehr zuvorkommend. Zimmer modernisiert und in Ordnung. Duschgel ist nicht vorhanden in der Preisklasse Standard. Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Leider hörte das auf dem Balkon zum Hof auf der war schmuddelig und wenig einladend. Das Frühstück ließ zu wünschen übrig einfachste Großmarkt Ware, wenig Auswahl große Filterkaffee Kannen einfach ohne Liebe, ich erwarte hier selbstgemachte Marmelade und Dinge aus der Region.

Wir hatten einen super Kurzurlaub. Absolut großer Pluspunkt ist die super ländliche Umgebung mitten im Nichts und der unverbesserliche Kundenservice! Die Mitarbeiter haben mitgedacht, das erlebe ich eher selten. Sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend in allen Belangen. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Einrichtung vollkommen ausreichend, mehr braucht man eigentlich nicht. Kleiner Kritikpunkt der Sauberkeit war hier leider ein verkalkter Duschkopf. Die Verdunklungsvorhänge dürften ruhig etwas breiter sein, aber das ist nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt, der nicht in meine Bewertung mit einfließt. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, jedoch für den Preis von 15€ p.P. sehr einfach gehalten. Zumindest ein wenig frisches aufgeschnittenes Gemüse (Paprika, Salatgurke o.ä.) hätte ich mir hier ergänzend gewünscht Leider zur der Zeit und aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage kein Abendrestaurant mit warmer Küche durchgehend bzw täglich vorhanden. Verständlich, aber grad bei der Lage wäre es absolut wunderbar wenn sich das ändern würde. Gerade nach einer ausgiebigen Tour gibt es nicht herrlicheres als im Hotel abends einzukehren ohne sich noch Gedanken über eine andere Gaststätte machen zu müssen. Wie gesagt hier nur Wunschdenken, muss den Gästen bei Buchung allerdings bewusst sein. In der Lage hat man herrliche Ruhe und Natur pur. Man muss das Hotel nur verlassen und steht in Mitten von Feldern und Wald und kann die altbekannte Landluft genießen.

Wenn wir gewusst hätten, das es ein Hundehotel ist wären wir sicher nicht gegangen, da am 7:00 das Hundegebell losging. Frühstück war sehr dürftig, mussten mehrmals das Personal darauf aufmersam machen, dass Orangensaft,Kaffee und Brötchen leer waren. Leider gab es nur Filterkaffe aus der Thermoskanne, der so dünn war, dass man Zeitung Lesen konnte dadurch. Denke eine Investition in einen Kaffevollautomaten wäre sicher nicht falsch.

Wir haben dieses Hotelzimmer aufgrund der offiziellen Webseite des Hotels gebucht. Dort beschreibt man die Familienzimmer als geräumige 25qm mit einem Doppelbett und einem Etagenbett in einem Zimmer. Bei Ankunft mussten wir jedoch feststellen das sich im Zimmer erstens kein Etagenbett befand und das Zimmer auserdem in zwei Einzelzimmer mit je einem Doppelbett aufgeteilt war. Es war zwar soweit sauber, aber alles sehr beengt und das aufstellen des Reisebettes für den 2-jährigen gestaltete sich schwierig. An erholsamen Schlaf war dadurch nicht zu denken. Am nächsten Tag sind wir direkt zur Hotelleitung um mal nachzufragen was da schief gelaufen ist. Wir bekamen die Rückmeldung das unser Zimmer wohl das einzige Familienzimmer ohne Etagenbett ist und das dies fälschlicherweise auf der Internetseite nicht ersichtlich ist. Für mich ist das eher irreführend. Die Hotelleitung entschuldigte sich und bot uns an früher auszuchecken. Darüber wollten wir uns erst noch unterhalten also gingen wir erst einmal frühstücken. Da auf der Seite von Expedia Bilder von einem reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet zu sehen sind freuten wir uns. Die Realität des Buffets sah allerdings anders aus. Die halbfertig aufgebackenen Brötchen vom Discounter machten kein besonders guten Eindruck. In der Milch und im Joghurt schwammen Fliegen, und auf der Wurst und dem Käse machten es sich diese auch zeitweise gemütlich. Wir entschieden uns daraufhin ein anderes Hotel für unseren weiteren Aufenthalt zu buchen.

Das Hotel ist eine wunderbare Wahl für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt im Schwarzwald. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Das freundliche Personal und das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet tragen zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt bei. Die ruhige Atmosphäre lädt zum Entspannen ein, während die Lage perfekt ist, um die Schönheit der Region zu erkunden.
