Rooms were adorable and well designed. Historic touches. Common areas were cozy and functional. I loved sitting on the porch in the Adirondack chairs in the morning.

Didn’t like that we couldn’t eat breakfast in the designated area. It wasn’t set up. We were given bags of breakfast items and not allowed to sit and eat.

Having stayed over a week at this hotel I discovered it is the staff that makes or breaks the place, at least in the smaller hotels (under 75 rooms). Every employee, from housekeeper to cook was courteous and friendly without going overboard & appearing fake. My only issue was the temperature in the suite would differ from room to room to living room. The first room, guess where the air passes through first, would be either very hot or very cold and it would be very uncomfortable to sleep in and in the living room would be somewhat warm and the third room would...

Overall, it was fine. Clean hotel and a friendly front desk. Quiet as well. There was a funny odor in my room but room was very clean and it wasn’t bad enough to switch rooms.
