"The hotel was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay. We had a king room on the 1st floor. The room had darkening shades so the lights from the parking lot and privacy were not an issue. The room was clean and plenty of fresh towels. The bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was standard, bothing fancy but good enough to get you on the road. "It was a clean hotel and a good bet if you are looking for an economical, no frills hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pitiful though."

"Hotel itself is fine - typical Hampton Inn. In fact I’d just said to my wife “I’ve never had a bad experience at a Hampton.” Spoke too soon. I prepaid for a night through Expedia for a young colleague of mine who does. Or have a credit card. He was supposed to arrive at 5pm. His flight from Philadelphia was cancelled and he had to rent a car and drive 5 hours to Syracuse. That night before I went to sleep I went to the front desk and explained the situation. The man who was at the desk was quite helpful and said “no problem, I’ll make sure his keys are ready when he gets there.” I woke up to find that he had to sleep in his car! He arrived at 2:30am and the night staff turned him away because he could not give them a credit card for incidentals. It’s our policy they say. I asked for a nights credit to offset the ridiculousness of making someone sleep in the car when the room was prepaid! Sorry, you booked through a third party they say. What a joke this place is. I run business, I understand policies and procedures. But I also understand human decency and kindness. Severely lacking at this Hampton Inn."

"Right from the 3:00 pm check in point, the whole trip was a disaster. First no one is at the desk, you have to ring a bell and wait, then we were told our room wasn't ready, it would be another half hour, then there was no cart to bring our baggage in because there was only one and apparently someone had it in there room. When we got to our suite, the floors were dirty, the sofa bed had no mattress so was impossible to even sit on and when we started to pull it out, the dirt under the sofa had been collecting for at least 6 months to a year. The furniture was stained, there was no coffee maker without asking, one pillow had no pillow case, and none of the workers could answer a simple question without consulting someone else, although they were courteous. There's no information anywhere at the hotel to suggest area restaurants, so make sure you know where to go eat before you get there, and the hotel is very limited in selection of their "hot breakfast included". I definitely will not recommend this place to any family or my friends."
