It has seen its glorious day. Staff are nice but the place is very dated. And not kept clean. The room has coffee marks on table, and the worst is -one of the bed’s mattress smelled - a lot of sweat. The bedsheet was so thin that one cannot escape the horrible feel of the sweat.

The breakfast was outstanding; however, our room was not. We booked a superior double with a garden view and therefore we were expecting large room with a good garden view. Instead, we had a very small room which would have made a Premier inn room look like a suite! Extraordinarily, there was only one plug socket in the wall! Indeed, we had to ask a member of staff to provide something to allow one of the bedside lights to work. This involved an extension lead from the only socket which draped down one side of the bed head which remained close to my pillow for the duration. The bathroom was in fact a shower room with no mechanical ventilation. There was one sash window in the shower room, which was broken and fixed shut, with the broken cords protruding from the face of the window. Whilst the staff were very helpfull, the room was very much not a superior room and not was not what we expected.

We went expecting a downgraded depressing hotel after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised, the owner a lovely helpful man greeted us on our arrival and explained the parking situation straight away, the hotel breakfast was very nice, and staff very friendly.The hotel itself doesn't do evening dinner but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, the hill upto the hotel if you're walking will certainly keep you fit.Tea and coffee along with iron and ironing board in all the rooms and the perfect view of the bay.

The car park was small, no good if you have a large car, i was lucky mine is small, the breakfast was fantastic, it was well cooked and presented , i would recommend staying there but not if you have mobility issues, as it's on a very steep hill

It was your typical Welsh seaside B&B. Dated and in need of a full renovation but as a hotel maintenance guy maybe I see more. I appreciate the money isn’t there in this business any longer to do most of what is needed. There are some beautiful old features and historic pictures that are nice. Our neighbours kept their bathroom light and extract fan on all night so it sounded like we were near the airport but the view out of the windows over Llandudno are amazing. I wasn’t happy with being asked twice to park closer and closer to the main door and the terrace as I had a brand new hire car. Sure enough the car was scratched over night and caused no end of issues when I returned it. Park elsewhere if you can. Breakfast was ok and I check in and out was quick.

I loved the quirky old worldiness of the hotel. I loved that the family room had a tower in it, which separated our sleeping area from our sons and the views were spectacular. The breakfast was lovely too. I know there is nothing the hotel can do about it but parking was very difficult near the hotel, and we had to park at the bottom of the hill, which was difficult as I am disabled and found it hard to keep going up and down the steep hill.

Beautiful Victorian inn at the very top of the hill with sweeping views of the town and pier. 5 min walk down to the beach and pier. Hot Breakfast was amazing! Got a treat seeing the Llandudno goats strolling down the street, nibbling the hedges. Very steep hill for anyone with mobility challenges. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Possibly the best view of Llandudno you could get, we were on the top floor. Great characterful building close to Happy Valley. Enjoyed the stay, breakfast was really nice, room clean and comfy beds

Wonderful b+b with stunning views, clean rooms, amazing breakfast and a lovely warm welcome. Yes its dated but its victorian! If u want something modern book a travelodge/premier inn. Yes theres only 4 parking spaces for 16 rooms but you will find this all over llandudno. At least here the street parking is free unlike in town. Yes its on a steep hill but you wouldnt get the views otherwise! Yes its 4 floors with no lift but note victorian building!! Overall best hotel ive stayed in in llandudno. Ideally situated for cable car, happy valley gardens and walk to Great Orme. With a 5 min walk to town. Will book again.

Beautiful hotel , was on a steep hill so not for people hard of walking . but well worth it .. had magnificent views of Llandudno . The bed was comfy , I slept very well , had high ceilings which were lovely but was a lot of cob webs on them .. I would defo look at having a sea view next time .. the bed side lamps didn’t work , but I think it was a faulty extension cable .. the breakfast was amazing and the waitress was brilliant and very professional, 😊

Ideally situated with parking, albeit a bit akward with 5 spaces,if not there is parking on the road if you can get a space! . We stayed in the quadruple room with sea view for myself, hubby and two Granddaughters. One double bed and two single beds, plenty of space. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice in a bright airy dining room. We'd definitely stay again.

A lovely hotel in an old building full of charm and character, in a fantastic location right on the edge of the Great Orme, overlooking the pier. All staff were friendly and very helpful - due to the unreasonably cold weather our room was rather cool however we were given an electric heater which quickly sorted this. Great for people travelling with a furry companion, with many fantastic walks straight from the hotel. The breakfasts were top quality, with a good range of food to suit all tastes.

The room was neat and tidy and clean. The furniture was old but not really of any particular era. A bit of a Mish mash with wardrobe doors just plain. A bit of edging and a decent colour would make the a lot nicer. Not sure if the sideboard supposed to have distressed look? But was not very well done. We were supposed to have a garden view? It was car park and the headland. Comfy bed and clean bathroom

No lift, requested ground floor apologies as none free,but then 2nd floor quite the climb! Limited parking, not disabled friendly.the room clean very dated and torn chairs ,which should be in a skip,cracks in wall ripped wallpaper..However fantastic breakfast and thanks for accommodating autistic grandson for his breakfast, it was clean and towels clean but in need of some TLC, staff great , shower gels etc provided steep hill which can't be helped, but fyi for those with mobility issues .
