Stayed in a large room with plenty of storage. Hotel 10ins walk into town but also near a good Bosnian restaurant which is well worth a try.

Excellent option, easy walk to old town in < 10 mins, super clean, comfortable beds, easy walk from train station < 10 mins and fair breakfast with eggs, oats, bread, fruit, cheese and ham. Would definitely return. Also, fridge in the room, parking and very safe area.

Hanneda & another young woman receptionist in the morning are very helpful & nice. The main tourist places to see are walkable from the hotel like the dragon bridge, funicular to the castle, etc.

The hotel was suitable for what we needed it for; a clean hotel reasonably close to the bus station before travelling to the airport early the next morning. However I'm glad we weren’t staying there for more than one night / the main part of our holiday as the rooms were basic and very clinical; there wasn't even a bedside light. The breakfast was also basic with not much to choose from.

We liked the location. The receptionist at check in was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok; the range and quality of items available was not as good as our comparable hotel stays. The corridor to our room smelt musty and our impressions were not improved by a leak from the ceiling into a bucket outside our room.

Our stay in Meksiko hotel was very pleasant, the breakfast was good and the hotel was overall in good condition. Our room was comfortable and the staff were friendly, and the old town was a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely terrible. Lighting was very minimal in the room and the air conditioner was noisy. Also, the shower leaked all over.

We had a great stay in Meksiko hotel. It’s walkable to the city centre as well as the central bus station. Supermarket is just around the corner. The rooms are spacious with lots of storage space. Great breakfast selection too. Would recommend to those who want to spend a few nights in Ljubljana.

The hotel is generally good. The room was clean and the overall environment was pleasant. It’s a decent option for a short stay. A few improvements could enhance the experience, but overall we were satisfied.

This is a basic hotel. It was affordable and a 15 min walk from the bus station and the old town. We felt safe and the staff was very friendly. However, the breakfast was average (the coffee less than average). The biggest issue was not the hotels fault - construction in the area blocked the entrance and we had to go around. When we first arrived I was concerned that noise might be an issue as it is located right next to an emergency room with ambulances coming and going. However, Our room was off an inner court yard and very quiet. Overall, if you are looking for affordability, a clean room and don't mind a little bit of a walk to the main tourist area, this is a good value.

Had an excellent stay at Meksico Hotel. Was a bit worried at first, as it’s next door to a hospital, but it looked to be a daycare hospital, so totally quiet at night. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean. In walking distance to most sights and to the bus an railway station. Had everything I needed, so happy to stay there again.

The hotel was close to the Bus station (10 min walk) and also it was about a 10 min walk to Preseren Square. The single room was a decent size with cupboard space. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

Wonderful front desk staff, convenient to have Hofer (like Aldi) market, a pharmacy and pizza cafe next door. Walking distance, safe, good price for a good location. Not fancy but we'll definitely be back!!

Defective shower, bad neighborhood, minimal brkt

Uncomfortably small room, appropriate for one person. Bed was clean and soft but under bed was filthy with dust and debris. Hotel is next door to an ER. Sirens at night and sketchy people hanging out. Breakfast is very basic. We had to move out the third night even we booked for 7 nights. Apparently, the hotel showed poor maintenance, bad management although staff were very apologetic Pictures didn’t match with reality. Price is high for the size and amenities. Only location is near the center town
