I would encourage anyone to stay at Barbo Palace. Perfect location and extremely charming. It’s worth not having extra amenities. Although you may have to wiggle the door handles a little more or there may be a crack in the wall, it adds to the character and charm. Rooms are very spacious, well kept, and clean. Highly recommend

I arrived early and while my room wasn’t ready Gregor took my luggage for me and made me a cup of coffee. He suggested a restaurant for breakfast. As soon as my room was ready he messaged me. My room was very large and comfortable. They don’t have a restaurant but there is a fridge and everything to make coffee in the rooms. There are a lot of restaurants close by.

My apartment at Barbo Palace with views of Ljubljana Castle was awesome! Wonderful staff who were very welcoming and shared info about many things in the area. Very walkable to most everything in city with grocery store and many restaurants close by.
