"Great place to stay, excellent for Lime Street no more than 2 minutes away, staff great facilities good. A few things of concern not that it would not stop me booking again is 1 ply toilet rolls not great as it's not a budget hotel, also the radiators are clanking all night certainly on the room we had on 6 th floor, very annoying which affects your sleep, also the ceramic tiles in my bathroom were all lose and moved when you walked on them However bedrooms great extremely comfortable large beds and generally a great stay, would have no problem re booking this hotel but next time I would check out the things that required doing."

"Hotel was excellent. Bright reception & friendly welcoming staff. Rooms were a good size & beds/pillows were comfy. Location was great, close to centre & docks.The early bag drop was very helpful & no bother to staff, definitely helped to let us get on with our day. Breakfast was good and is open later than other hotels. I will be recommending & booking again for Liverpool stays."

"The hotel its self is very grand and impressive. Parking is limited but there’s another car park literally over the road. Check-in was easy although a little noisy. It’s hard not to be impressed with such an amazing historical building. The room was absolutely massive. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great choice of fresh pastry’s and the hot selection was of really good quality. Would definitely like to rerun again. "

"This hotel was a cheap option in a great location. I got what I paid for and I think that’s the best review I can give. If you want an undisturbed nights sleep this isn’t the hotel for you. The good - it’s a functional hotel. Room was fine and as advertised. Bedding and towels were fresh and clean. TV worked although there were no live channels, you had to use the apps, luckily previous occupants hadn’t signed out. Bathroom looked modern and clean, although the polyfilla repairs on the sink were obvious and poorly done. Shower worked but the pipe and shower head both leaked when it was turned on. The bad - despite the signs everywhere, smoking is prevalent in this hotel. The corridors smell of cigarettes, vapes and other things being smoked. When I entered my room the smoke detector had been covered with plastic, there was a lingering smell of smoke and there were cigarette burns on the upholstery of the chair. The staff checked me in fine, but were visibly annoyed that my presence had to make them get off the sofa in their office to check me in. The key was handed over in silence and no further information such as where the room was or WiFi was given until I asked. Finally, the walls are paper thin. Most nights there was music blasting throughout the night from multiple rooms, along with voices shouting throughout the corridors and open windows (which from the smell were being used for smoking). It wasn’t a pleasant or restful stay."

"I love this hotel. I always try and stay here if I can when I visit Liverpool. It's close enough to the centre and yet, far enough away. It has lots of amenities and is overall a lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. I was chatting a bit to the staff because I was traveling solo. It's always clean and tidy. The room has two single beds put together (if you book a double room opposed to a twin room) so the bed is huge and comfy. The walk in, waterfall shower is one of my favourite amenities. I ate breakfast here, it's a buffet breakfast with all sorts. Cooked/continental/cheese and meat/juices, tea, coffee, water. It was a nice breakfast and the environment is quite calming. The prices of bar menu/drinks are - in some cases - really quite steep. That is my only criticism. My margarita cocktail was £14.90 🙈 However, the checkout time here, is 12pm. When a lot of hotels are between 10-11 and make you pay extra for late check out for it to be 12pm. I checked out early, but they label and store your suitcase for you, to pick up later, if you want to go out without lugging round a suitcase. This is very helpful."
