The overall experience is okay
It’s just because this hostel has convenient access conditions and is relatively close to the city center, so I chose this one. However, I booked a 4-bed room but I was allocated an 8-bed room. The people staying in thereafter were very noisy, which bothered me a lot.

Very odd hostel, the most important thing was fine, the bed, but that's everything. Made a reservation at Selina hostel, got a mail that i received a message on Expedia after a few months from PH hostel. Expedia website or app on both phone and laptop don't allow you to go to messages and I could not reply to it. Beds were decent, but the cabinet above your bed is only 30 cm high so every time you move in your sleep, you would hit your knee or foot against it, waking you up. Mine did not have something to lock it either, other beds did. Toilet in a 4-bed room has no exhaust, so it might be stinky. Hostel staff was not very helpful or friendly, only 1 girl during the entire weekend smiled back and said hi, the rest looked at you and turned their heads and didn't even bother to explain how to get to your room or give you any tips for the city and for breakfast (they have a bar but no staff to run it, so there's no breakfast option in the hostel). When asking where I could get breakfast and whether the places would be open on Sundays they tell you to go to the restaurants and look at their sign.

I was in the 10 men room, and it was not really cleaned for the 5 days i was in the hostel. The bathroom was horrible: the door was broken, the showers were not clean, extremely small, dark and a bare minimum. The sinks and the toilet were dirty and disgusting too. I was not in the room for the whole day, obly for sleeping. If you have a lock with you, you can lock your stuff into the storage box and the bed was the only good thing, it was quite comfortable. But the room itself was stuffy and smelly. The kitchen you can use was also very dirty, but it had the most necessary stuff and a fridge were you can store your food. All in all it was not good, the general cleanliness and also the condition of the hostel is not close to the pictures, it is very outdated and many things are broken.

Bathroom exhaust fan and mirror light was not working. Not fixed even after mentioning the same. Kitchen was not clean at all. Also it didn’t have basic amenities like mugs/ glasses. Breakfast was not served on the third day for which we paid separately. Property was not well lit.

Habitación cómoda cerca de la estación Lime Street
Habitación cómoda y céntrica cerca de la estación de Lime Street en Liverpool. El edificio del Hostel es impresionante, muy bonito por fuera. La habitación fue cómoda para dormir una noche, espaciosa, baño privado y toallas. Sin embargo le faltaban algunos retoques de mantenimiento, pintura levantada y manchas de humedad, además había bastante polvo en el cabecero de la cama. Para una noche está bien.
