The venue was significantly understaffed - we had to wait a very long time for our bar meal as one person was having to serve behind the bar ( long queue) and serve tables - same at breakfast where we had to wait so long for the hot food to be replenished that other staff thought that we had left and cleared our table 👎

Tables for 2 in the dining room are far too small for breakfast. The food was good, but we had to ask for fresh eggs etc as the cooked foods were not replenished. no-one explained that other varieties of egg were available. Only scrambled on the hot plate and no staff manning the food station. Bedroom was spacious and clean, however it was chilly.

Stayed in room 201 which was all very nice until 3am when the air-conditioning hardware in the ceiling void made some horrendous vibration noises along with a squeal which sounded like the fan bearing. Boiled the kettle in the morning for it to boil but when it turned itself off the plug had a massive electrical arc causing damage to the cable. I showed the video of the noise and the damage cable to reception, very disappointed not to be offered compensation for my inconvenience given my business spent over 2k in the hotel for the last two weeks!

Rooms are lovely and although I wanted to use the leisure facilities I just felt too tired from my travels but they are great too. Meals and breakfast are very nice. Receptionist on check in was great but service can be slow and I had to chase people to get things done. Sort the service out and this would be excellent.
