We really enjoyed our stay at Mossely Hill Retreat, the place was clean & quiet, room was nice and we loved exploring the surrounding area. Will definitely consider staying here again when in the area.

This place is a hidden gem. Perfect for a lone female travelling for work. The building is gorgeous, rooms are a very generous size and spotless. I had a nice bubble bath after a long day walking around the docks in the rain and had a great night sleep in a comfy bed. Highly recommend!

Relaxing and peaceful stay

A very relaxing stay in a spacious and very peaceful large house, which was a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We didn’t have any problems at all. We appreciated how Alfie the very well behaved dog gave us the most adorable welcome!

Very pleasant leafy area some 20mins walk to Railway station. Large mansion style house. Spacious room and bathroom and super kingsize bed. Newly carpeted. Did not meet any staff but administrator very considerate. Ive been staying in the area often these past 2 years and felt the place was a tad overpriced and disappointed about additional cleaning fee.

Very old building and old style furniture. The shover tray is very small. The bathroom sink taps are too short and the hot and cold water split. The fridge is too small for the amount of people in the hotel. The room table is small and instable.
