The staff make this place shine more than anything else. The rooms are clean and the simple food options they provide are perfect; fresh coffee, fruits, bread, jams and occasionally a baked offering would appear in the kitchen. A great place to stay if visiting Lisbon and i’ll definitely be back.

It's a beautiful Guest House near the downtown area. It sits right next to the Tram 28 line, so it's super easy to get into town.

Going back to House Sao Bento felt like going back home after a long day of exploration! Spacious room, comfortable bed and kitchen available for a quick coffee and breakfast. Location is remote enough to feel outside of the tourist trap but close enough thanks to the 28 tram that runs nearby. Highly recommend !

The hosts provided an amazing atmosphere and a beautiful, clean accommodation! There was a shared kitchen which was impeccably clean and had everything one might need and some goodies on top. The room was beautiful and also really quiet despite being in the city centre, making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day and night out in Lisbon

It was a perfect stay. The shared kitchen, which had absolutely everything, gave the apartment a wonderful character. The staff, especially Caroline, were very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much and I would be happy to come back anytime.

Excellent accommodations

I had the room with a private bath. The room was large and bright, nicely decorated, bed was comfortable, and the private bathroom was newly renovated. Carolina the host was was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The whole place was very clean. A fairly quite street, but easy walking distance to several great neighbourhoods.

Sweet and charming guest house. I was in PEÑA room which was quiet and comfortable. Private bathroom right opposite.

Pedro is an Amazing person, he is very helpful, generous and makes you feel at home. The guesthouse is beautiful and very artistic. The overall service and facilities are 5 star in my opinion. I will definitely be staying here every time I visit Lisbon.

It was a nice place to stay. All the comforts of home. Love the coffee, tea biscuits. Easy to get in when you know how. Pedro was really helpful and kind. One suggestion send codes more in advance. Wifi issue.

Everything was great except the drier did not have heat! I had to put damp clothes in my suitcase. Jacqueline was very hospitable and helpful.

This is a lovely and very unique place. It is very different from staying in a hotel, it’s a guest house with a nice communal feel but not over the top. There’s a really well equipped communal kitchen with some food and drink provided. Outside my room was a small communal balcony, which was really lovely as the French doors of my room op Ed onto it. It was a smoking area but fortunately not many people smoked, but if they did or if there were people spending a lot of time there or being noisy it would feel a bit imposing. Luckily the place seemed to attract quiet and respectful guests. Earplugs may be good if you’re a light sleeper, just from corridor noise if people are up early. The area itself was lovely and peaceful and a nice park and a few great bars and restaurants very nearby.

didn’t specify anywhere that it was a share house, expected it to be a hotel however had to share a bathroom with countless random people. upon arrival there were no staff members to show us around or give us a key. We only saw a staff member on our second last day. if we knew it was a share house, we would have stayed in a hotel.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ekne wirklich tolle Unterkunft mit unglaublich aufmerksamen Gastgebern Das Zimmer war sehr schön mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet Besonders toll fanden wir auch, dass alles für ein Frühstück kostenlos verfügbar war: kaffeepulver, Obst, Brot, Aufstriche
