Nice clean modern hotel and not too far from city centre with a regular bus . Excellent breakfast with friendly staff members Unfortunately the bar was closed during our stay due to a technical fault which was disappointing because as a group booking we hoped to socialise there of an evening

Nice hotel

This hotel is about 10 minutes by bus from the Linz HBF. Our room qas on the 3rd floor, very clean and spacious room, the bathroom has liquid soap, hairdryer, facial tissue, clean towels and nice shower with good water pressure. There s a mini fridge in the closet along with a safe. They also have complimentary coffee with a coffee maker in the room. The A/C didn't work so good though, so we opened the bedroom window. The bed is comfortable. And tge staff were nice and spoke English 👍

OK but should be better

The location is very good for train station, industrial area and city centre, all approximately 20 minute walk. Very quiet generally, no evening food options but not a problem. Only concern was service, I asked on three separate days for soap and body wash as these were empty when I checked in. Was given some lotion and eventually some liquid soap which was then taken away without the dispensers being filled again. Eventually just bought my own which they also took away leaving me soap free again. Lesson - hide your washing things

Bathrooms were terrible
The first room was a mess, and the bathroom drain was super slow, so we asked to switch. The second room was even worse, with a clogged drain and water everywhere, even in the room. I wouldn't stay there again.

The body wash and shampoo was empty. I was taking bath and my husband had to go down and ask for a replacement. If we are paying for a 3+ stars hotel, we don’t expect such an issue

Very nice and modern hotel

Very nice and modern hotel. Clean room, plentiful and quality breakfast. Friendly staff. I overnight for the first time in this hotel but I will use it on my next trip in Linz.

Great hotel, check out was early, i could advice the only thing that was missing was other toiletries such as toothpaste and/or toothbrush. Otherwise happy with the room. The parking was a bit of an issue that there was no information about the parking.

Mismanagement

Around 11 o'clock at night, 3 people arrived the hotel. After the receptionist checked in, we went to the room with our belongings and the room was for 2 people. We went down to the reception again and he gave another room and the room was for 2 people again. And the same thing happened the 3rd time. We went to the room 3 times with our belongings and went down to the reception. This time, the receptionist said that our reservation was for 2 people and said that the error was due to Hotels.com. He said that even though I showed the booking confirmation and details, the error was not caused by them. Then he called his boss and after more than 1 hour he gave us the room. They upset us late at night for a problem not caused by us. Yes the hotel was clean and tidy but this is not enough to make a hotel good. It was very bad management and possibly new management. Parking fee is 16€ per day which is very very expensive for this area. You can park for free in the hotel's side street from evening until 8 am. I asaid that we will check out early morning but they did not share this information with us in order to sell us parking.
