Great hotel in the old town of linz

Really nice and cozy hotel in the old town of linz. Oldstyle and wellmaintained. Close to restaurants and public transportation. Nice and quiet with good beds. Breakfast with oranges you can make into orangejuice on their machine. Simple but tasty selection of breakfast. Been here 4 times before and it is perfect.

Pleasant old style hotel right in the main square - good breakfast in a pleasant sunny room. Lots of places to eat. Access from the Hauptbahnhof is by tram - any tram goes to Hauptstrasse. If you are in Linz to see the town itself, stay here.

Really lovely hotel with great location right by tram station and friendly bilingual staff. Room had great ac and very clean lovely washroom. We could not have had a better location right in old town center. Breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful.

Good stay

This is a very good hotel with a long history and is built in a traditional period building overlooking the Hauptplatz. The location is part of the Linz Old Town (Die Linzer Altstadt) and is also what we were looking for, so that met our requirements perfectly. We had a good stay there. We want to note that their restaurant's breakfast service and food choices were all excellent. Thank you.

Fantastic hotel. It use to be a Monastery. I loved.how it uses keys to the rooms and you turn in the keys everytime you leave. The staff were amazing and nice. Only downfall is there is not safe in the room and no elevator from ground floor to reception desk.

A charming hotel in a great location, right in the heart of Linz. The room was large, comfortable and furnished with classic wooden furniture. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed. The location is unbeatable, with all the attractions of Linz nearby. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and the Danube is a short walk away. It's a quirky, old building with plenty of character - a really interesting place to stay. The staff were really helpful. Parking was available at Hauptplatz Tiefgarage for around €25 a day. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the car park.

Hotel Wolfinger is an elegant old hotel that has been upgraded. It is beautiful. The room was huge with windows that looked onto the square. The bed (called a double) was more like a king size bed and there was a couch in the room as well as a desk. The bathroom and toilet were separate which offers convenience. The location was great. Easy walking to everything. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was a great huge buffet with all the delicious European treats-- every kind of bread, rolls, cereals, cheeses, salamis/meats, yogurt, etc etc, and of course every kind of coffee or tea. Absolutely lovely!
