Excellent new take on the hostel concept. En suite room with 4 single beds and with minimal reception or lobby, urban location was perfect for exploring the island, parking opposite, perfect for families or youth on the move between places.

Nice location; horrible hosts

The hotel is well located on Lindau island and close to the parking garage. The room was air-conditioned which was a welcome change to most European lodgings. The staff, a husband and wife team, were the rudest we encountered during our travels (almost comically so).

This hotel is a little off the cycle way, but situated at the edge of Lindau old town, which is the most charming part. Checking in went fine, though the owner had played that dangerous game of emailing important codes and instructions on the day of arrival to people whose mobile reception was poor and who weren't making it a priority to check the phone as they cycled. However, happily, he turned up when we did at and all was well. There were cycle racks outside the hotel. The room and ensuite were very spacious , the room was clean and AC was provided. Breakfast was included and more than acceptable, though the coffee won’t be winning awards. This a well located hotel, a comfortable room, but a touch of chaos in the public areas, and how staff spoke to each other. A previous reviewer said it looked nothing like the photos and I agree, especially around the untidy reception area and there was a touch of “ Fawlty Towers” to the experience .However , as breakfast was included , it was value for money .

Expensive and nothing like the photos - avoid!

The room provided bore no resemblance to what the property advertised. The hotel refused to take any responsibility and it was left to hotels.com to offer a partial refund. Hotels.com were excellent (as always) but avoid this overpriced and misleading property.

Zwar ist die Lage super, nur an Sauberkeit mangelt es sehr, Wlan und Tv haben nicht funktioniert. Da kein Personal im Hotel war war ich gezwungen anzurufen nur da konnte man mir überhaupt nicht behilflich sein.

Wenn man nach 14:30 Uhr anreist, muss man telefonisch die Ankunft mitteilen, um einchecken zu können (Telefon-/Handynummer sind an der Tür angebracht). Mir wurde dann telefonisch der Code für die Schlüsselbox mitgeteilt. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern, ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Nachts war es ruhig und ich konnte gut schlafen. Insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden.

Erlebnisreicher Aufenthalt

Wir hatten das Hotel Seerose gebucht. Bei der Ankunft waren die Eigentümer vor Ort und extrem nervös, denn das Hotel war mehrfach überbesetzt chr. Er schlug uns vor, uns im weitergelegenen Partner-Hotel unterzubringen. Das dort erhaltene Zimmer verweigerten wir, da es nach Zigarettenrauch stank. Wir kriegten ein anderes Zimmer, welches ok war. Das uns hoch angepriesene Frühstück (aus eigener Konditorei) war dein Reinfall, die Bäckerei hatte geschlossen. Es gab fast keine Auswahl und bis 9 Uhr Frühstückszeit am Wochenende ist zu kurz.

Personale proprietari non adatti a ricevere e trattare con la clientela, solo perché noi siamo stranieri e soprattutto Italiani ci hanno trattato in malo modo, non adatti a ricevere e a tratrare con persone di diversa lingua, arroganti. Colazione in stile tedesco ma con poca cura, insomma non benissimo. Posso solo dare un giudizio positivo della camera doppia con due stanze matrimoniali grandi e bel bagno.

Mage til ubehagelig tone blandt hotellets to personaler skal man lede længe efter. De var både grove, hårde, affejende og bestemt ikke smilende og imødekommende. Vi oplevede det selv flere gange, men oplevede også andre hotelgæster blive mødt på samme måde - også de gæster der ringede fik samme ubehagelige tonefald.

Gut und günstig.

Für günstige Kurzaufenthalte in Lindau bestens geeignet. Die Zimmer sind klein, die Bäder ok. Der Platz im Frühstücksraum ist begrenzt. Mitunter müssen Wartezeiten in Kauf genommen werden. Die Betreiber sind aber sehr bemüht, dass alles rund läuft.

Die Zimmer waren ausreichend für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel und auch sauber, genauso wie das Frühstück. Wir hatten statt dem gebuchten Doppelzimmer ein Dreibettzimmer bekommen, wobei das am Flur gelegene Zimmer wirklich extrem hellhörig war und wir immer wach wurden, sobald im Flur ein Stock weiter oben (Rezeption etc.) geredet wurde...Zum Glück gab es also noch ein weiteres Zimmer, in dem es dann gut aushaltbar war. :D Die Hellhörigkeit ist deswegen auch das einzige Manko, alles andere war durchweg gut. :)
