Nice, grand, old hotel in a great location. Rooms could definitely use a facelift (carpet, curtains and bathroom are all pretty dated and not in a quaint kind of way). Definitely caters to an older crowd. Good breakfast.

A bit disappointed

Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. I’d want to know if I was mgr. not much in the way of apology… maybe the waiter was the owner’s nephew? Just. Didn’t have an overall feel of service.

Sehr schöner Ort und die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig. Das Zimmer ist stilvoll eingerichtet, das Badezimmer im Verhältnis klein und veraltet. Ein Shuttle-Service vom P&R zum Hotel sollte in der momentanen Situation angeboten werden. Busverbindungen vom P&R nur alle 30min in der Nebensaison und dazu kommt viel Verspätung…

Dieses Hotel können wir nur weiterempfehlen, alles war wunderbar. Besonders herausstechend ist die Lage und das Frühstück ist hervorragend, sehr kulinarisch, alles frisch. Ein Besuch auf dem Leuchtturm ist ein Muss, viele wissenswerte Informationen und ein tolle, weite Aussicht sind garantiert;-) Es gibt viele Restaurants, Cafeterias und Eisdielen in der nähe. Die Schiffsanlegestelle ist auch direkt vor der Tür. Ein Spaziergang um die ganze Insel ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Die Lindauer Therme sind nur 15 Autominuten entfernt, diese zu Besuchen ist für jung und alt definitiv purer Spass oder Erholung. Vielen Dank für alles und bis wieder einmal.

Great place to stay

Beautiful hotel across the street from the Bodensee. Ideal location. We definitely recommend staying here. Easy access to restaurants and the ferry. Staff was very accommodating and professional.

Der Besuch im Hotel Reutemann-Seegarten war für uns eher enttäuschend. Das Zimmer mit kleinen Fenstern, wo man überhaupt nicht rausschauen konnte. Das Badezimmer war aber sehr schön. Frühstück war nichts aufregendes, aber ok. Durch die Corona Massnahmen sehr mühsam, weil man nicht selber vom Buffet sich bedienen durfte.

In need of customer service training

One of the breakfast staff was quite rude to me and embarrassed me in front of everyone. On morning 2, just the same as I did on morning 1, I went to get a croissant. Morning 2, she yelled at me and said not to do that and that I should have waited in line. I thought the line was only for people wanting meat and eggs cooked for their breakfast. The croissants were at the other end, easily accessible to anyone, so I was surprised when she scoulded me like that. I was mortified. She needs customer service training. On a brighter note, we had the most wonderful, friendly waitress at dinner both nights. Our room was comfortable, and the hotel's location is lovely.
