leather Chairs had rips in two of them. Blinds didnt work and one was broken. Dead bugs squished on wall and ceiling -no door screens and no see ems- or mesquites were everywhere. possible bed bug in linen. windows need replaced - balcony was not swept clean. the view was incredible and the Staff was great.

Amazing and friendly staff. Suite had a gorgeous view. Excellent beach access. Working pool and hot tub. Our only concern is the significant disrepair the property is in. We had a window that would not seal and lock due to the degree of water damage in the pane and down the wall. The pool and hot tub has tiles falling off all over the place with torn cover. The hot water took roughly 7 minutes to surface in the unit which was fine but seemed very wasteful. Would stay again but recommend the owner invest in repair work before these units aren’t usable.

Nice to be near the beach, helpful staff, dog friendly. Location of ‘cabin’ - on small parking lot between back door of office & laundry room - not very private, fair amount of laundry traffic, people hanging around etc. Also, in need of upkeep/better cleaning - some things broken: blinds (esp. in bedroom), toaster.

The front desk staff was great, really friendly and informative. However... The room was old and dingy. Stains all over the carpet, musty smell, bathroom tub had mold or mildew around the edges. The view from the room was nice but this motel needs some serious updating.

Arrived to the hotel around 8 Thursday night to be told that the water heater went out and that they were waiting for the part to arrive and that we would have limited hot water, we didn’t have hot water in our room for the whole 3 nights we stayed. Was told it got fixed Saturday afternoon but we still had no hot water all of that night until 5 in the morning Sunday for about 5 mins and then it went cold again. Was looking to be compensated atleast a night considering I booked the room over a month ago for a birthday trip and wasn’t told about these issues until the night I got there

I love the seahorse! From the minute, you walk in, you feel like you’re home. Special shout out to the front desk staff. From the minute I arrived they made me feel welcome and asked if there was anything else they could do to make my stay enjoyable. Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but from talking to the manager, they are planning on doing a lot of upgrades. But it suited my needs perfect I had a room with a balcony, a fireplace, a mini fridge, Kerig coffe maker and a microwave and a very nice king size bed. right below my room was the hot tub and pool. The pool was clean and heated to a nice degree and the hot tub was hot enough with a beautiful view of the sunset. I especially appreciated that they texted me before I arrived and answered any questions I had promptly. i’ve heard people complain about the 99 steps down to the beach, but I think that’s part of what makes this place so affordable they don’t overcharge you for what you get basically, they have everything that you would find in a higher end hotel just a little dated. I will be returning and recommend this place to my friends. I love your heart Just FYI - I am writing this review from my phone and the interface with Expedia is kind of clunky. it’s difficult to go back and retype what you already typed. The room was not freshed up, it felt dirty in away. I'm a house keeper, so I noticed the small things. The staff was great ! The room was very spacious, But the best was the view.
