Wonderful immaculate log chalet in beautiful alpine valley setting in Aosta. Amazing hosts and a super buffet breakfast for 10€. Close to central Aosta and restaurants, taverns and shopping. Best of both worlds, quiet log cabin close to bustling city center. Amazing views

Two day was not enough...

We only stayed two nights, however we observed the professionalism and courtesy of the employees. The hotel, the room, the meals and service were beyond our expectations for the price. Lake view from hotel is gorgeous.

Was a great location with a shuttle bus into town .The staff were very friendly,the breakfast was the best selection of goods I have ever seen .Catering for all nationalities. The evening buffet was a great food choice and v good value for money ,includes wine ! The rooms could do with a bit of an update but when the view and queen size bed ,tea & coffee in room .what's not to love

We liked the view of the lake it was beautiful, proximity to the town was good and easy to walk to . We had a room that had been modernised which was nice . We are in the restaurant one night and the food was not that great, but the breakfast was nice .

Great view from the hotel above the lake, although this meant the walk back from the town is up hill (make sure to use the shortcuts via the steps at the back of the pool). The staff were very helpful and an issue with the safe was fixed very quickly. We did find the drain in the shower quickly overflowed soaking the bathroom floor but other than that the room was great. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and not too crowded when we visited (end of May).

We stayed at the rooms with a panoramic view of Lake Garda and the alps. The hotel rooms were very clean and had a modern feel. Rooms smelled nice as well. Dinner buffet offered at reasonable price was the best food experience we've had in Italy. Free breakfast was equally amazing. Staff was very friendly. We would love to go back to Limone and definitely to this hotel. It was an excellent stay.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Great location overlooking lake Garda. Lovely pools, good air con, great breakfast buffet and nice staff. We also went for the dinner buffet a couple of nights which was also really good. 15 min walk into Limone which is a really nice little town. The rooms are a little dated but the views from the big balconies more than made up for that. It was very warm in August in lake Garda, so the air con was essential

Overall great experience. Found reception area a bit full on. Staff were very giggly and starey and the one with the red hair seemed to rule the roost a little bit. HOWEVER, all very pleasant staff and very accommodating. I would definitely stay again! Just avoid the German sausages as I don't know if they have ever seen a pig 🐷

Just another classic example of photos showing something that’s really not there… Old and worn, somewhat dirty, huge hotel with people everywhere. Breakfast borderline poor. Went to dinner buffet once, but just laughed at the suggestion to do it another time. Great view though, but a sweaty 15-20 min uphill walk

Super helpful staff. Very nice hotel. However no internet in rooms and there is zero sound proofing - very unfortunate when neighbours watch TV. Thankfully staff gave us the option to move to a quieter room.

Lovely area, but the hotel is so run down. Bathroom was mouldy and rusty, communal areas were filthy, stains all over carpets and walls. Bed so uncomfortable, towels and bedding very well used. Walls so thin you can hear everything between rooms. Hotel needs some serious renovation

Hotel is nice, bit of a walk back from the centre as its all up hill. Hotel needs more entertainment / things to do. Nothing to do for kids here except the pool. Pool bar needs to be open later than 6pm. Otherwise good hotel.

It's a great hotel, great location with amazing views. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our room could have used an update/renovation. We did online check in and received our room an hour before actual check in time, which was a plus. We were promised a gift for using the online check in and did not receive it. However, we did not realize this until after our stay was over.

Dissapointing

Our room was the smallest I have ever seen for 4 people. Our balcony was not private for the room, so other guests had free access to it, which was strange. To small pool areas. After a couple of hours we decided to re-locate to other hotel.

Lovely stay at H Cristina. We stayed in a balcony lake view room and it was an incredible view. The checkin was smooth and hassle free - we were provided with all the information we needed. There were 4 pools to choose from and they were always clean with plenty of Sun beds available. The bar areas were good and the staff were always friendly. The breakfast is a buffet for hot, cold and continental foods - all good. We had dinner in the hotel one evening which is again buffet service with a decent variety. This costs €19 each but also includes your soft drinks and red/white wine. There was plenty of parking and the views from the hotel were stunning. The facilities were good and I didn’t find the decor dated as stated in other reviews. Overall would stay again and recommend.
