We stayed overnight to enjoy a girls trip. Wish there was a jacuzzi option without having to pay extra at the wellness center but the indoor pool was still a nice option. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Great choices. Would recommend.

Big Hotel with all facilities, good location, short way to Mai Haugen historical museum and with in 10 minutes walking distance to the Lillehammer walking streets. However it bears sign of wear and tear so new carpets and a bit of refurbishment can be recommended.

Good hotel.

Good hotel, located uphill, very close to Lillehammer Olympic Park. Good size room with garden and outdoor pool view (room 614). Good beds with clean linens. Good size bathroom. Housekeeping not really focused on our room (5 night-stay, 1 time cleaning - room 614). Very nice and cozy lobby with different set-ups and lounges with (one) fireplace. Nice restaurant but the menu is very limited (January 2025) and expensive. Fabulous breakfast! Friendly reception staff. Free parking. I will book again.

Our experience was very disappointing. Just one day before our arrival, the hotel informed us that our reservation had been changed and gave us only two options: transfer to another hotel or cancel. Since our trip was the next day, canceling was not realistic, so we had no real choice but to accept the transfer. The replacement hotel did not offer the same facilities. There was no swimming pool or attractions for children, which were the main reasons we chose the original hotel. Although we were allowed to use the pool at the original property, it was over a kilometer away, which was very inconvenient with children. The new hotel also did not have its own parking, which made traveling with kids more difficult, and we had to pay extra for parking as well. Despite the clear downgrade in facilities, we received no refund or compensation. Overall, the situation caused us a lot of stress and disappointment, and we cannot recommend this hotel.

Very large and busy hotel. Run down, untidy and well past it’s best. Our room was ok, looked over the garden. Stayed for 2 nights, they didn’t make up the room, or bring fresh towels on the second day. Indoor pool was under refurbishment, which we were not made aware off. Outdoor pool was dirty, small and full of children during our stay. Didn’t try the spa as it was quite pricey. Wouldn’t stay again.

We arrived at 23:30 and wanted to go straight to bed, but the room was not ready. The receptionist told us to sit down and wait for 20 minutes and have a coffee (at 11.30pm!!!) , while the room was beeing cleaned. As we were tired and needed to rest, we agreed to take another type of room that was ready. I said we would be grateful if we could get a room that was recently renovated, but the receptionist rolled her eyes and would not even check. The building could do with a renovation.

Very Disappointing Stay – Not Suitable for Summer

This was one of the worst hotel choices we’ve made. While the hotel might be a decent option during winter, it was unbearable in the summer. The room was extremely hot, and there was no air conditioning or even fans available. When we tried to open the windows for some relief, we were met with loud noise from the parking area—especially from large buses starting early in the morning. The lack of ventilation made it very uncomfortable, especially since we were traveling with two small children and elderly family members. We arrived late, and all the nearby shops were closed, so we couldn’t even buy a fan ourselves. We paid 4500 SEK for one night, which was absolutely not worth it. Had we known the hotel didn’t provide fans or AC, we would have either chosen a different place or brought our own. Hotels.com should have clearly mentioned this in the listing or sent us an email. We’re very disappointed and will not be recommending this hotel—or Hotels.com—because of the lack of crucial information. A very frustrating experience overall

Bodde her 14.-16.02.26. Flott og ærverdig resepsjon og hyggelige ansatte. Ble møtt av infoskilt om at det var gjort sikkerhetstiltak ifm. Norovirus-utbrudd. På rommet ble vi møtt av avføring i toalettet og litt hår her og der. Hotellet vasket toalettet på nytt. Teppegulvet var også manglende støvsugd. Renhold får strykkarakter. Rommet var også særdeles lytt til tilstøtende rom. Fint basseng. Frokostbuffet var rikholdig og topp. Hyggelige ansatte også der. Mange parkeringsplasser. Hotellet har stort potensial, men renhold må forbedres og korridorer og rom må pusses opp for å få bedre score fra meg.
