Family road trip a good night

We really like the B&B format. There duplex rooms are great for families. We only stayed one night but it was good and the location of this one is great for fast food etc.

It's not best location for Lille but staff, price, cleanliness make up for it. 15 mins into town centre €35 in zn Uber. The receptionist couldn't be more helpful, she was amazing. Thank you for making it a great vacation.

Perfect stay for a couple nights

The room was very small, but it was clean & the beds were comfortable :) The Wi-Fi was sometimes good and sometimes bad. The room has a good blackout curtain so it’s stays nice and dark, so we both slept well. Also stays cool with air con. Microwave in reception was handy and also the free parking was great. Overall I would recommend and use again.

Checkin You have to be aware you need to have self check in to obtain the room number and the most importantly, bring your debit/credit card (No contactless) The room require code to enter but unfortunately my room has some issues and need to spend 20 mins on average to login in the winter night it was quite challenging.

Self check in facility. I paid for the room well in advance and the self check-in counter did not let me check-in without paying again. We didn’t have any other option since it was late night and had to proceed with paying twice. Room was very small with beds literally filling the whole room and no space at all for the luggage- we are just talking about small bags not big bags.

Cold room

Room was quite cold when we arrived. I had to switch on the heat pump on my own and it took all evening to get warm. For the rest it was ok, similar to other B&B. Very small shower.

Double Charged for the Room

Booking paid in full at the time of booking with Hotels.com. The itinerary number was not recognised by the hotel through their automated check in, so had to call their help desk on arrival. Then we were charged the full room rate again on check in, so have now paid twice for the room. Hotels.com seen to be unable to secure a refund from the property. This is the 2nd booking of a French hotel with Hotels.com that had been a disaster, so I will not be joining any further trips with them.

The room is clean and well kept, but the outside is very poorly kept and dirty. It passes a bad impression, as it the whole place were abandon.

What atracted us to this hotel was the room layout with the two beds upstairs above the bathroom, however, it was so small, stairs were steep and narrow, very difficult to move around, the walls were thin and we could hear people nextdoor having normal conversation. I guess it's what a budget hotel looks like, but for £10 extra we stayed in absolute luxury compared to this.

Not an enjoyable experience

This is clearly a hotel geared up to accommodate truck drivers and others that have no other requirement than a bed for the night close to the motorway. Almost no evidence of staff and no one to call on in the event that you have an issue. It was not a pleasant room and smelled of damp.

La chambre était en bon état mais dans la salle de bain le cache sous la douche s'enlever. Il y avait des bruits tuyauterie dans la salle de bain la nuit. Dans l'ensemble c'est bien pour dépanner une nuit mais pas plus car pour 4 la chambre était minuscule on ne pouvait pas passer. On ne tient pas à plus de deux personnes dans la salle de bain et c'est possible que si l'autre personne est dans la douche.

Arrivée à 15h le vendredi de la braderie de Lille. Pas de personnel à l'accueil, il faut passer par les bornes électroniques à l'extérieur pour payer le séjour et récupérer le code de sa chambre. Serrure de notre chambre qui nous a donné du fil à retordre, le chiffre 2 (il faut taper le code à l'aide de touches mécaniques) ne fonctionnant qu'une fois sur 10! Bref sinon rien à dire sur la chambre, c'est du 1er prix et on en a pour son argent (petite, basique, mais propre).
