「Hotel is cozy and relaxing, room is big with comfortable bedding, convenient location near Lijiang old city, staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Daily afternoon tea is provided as well with special drinks, different fruits and cakes. I have no hesitation to recommend Luxe Retreat to anyone who visits Lijiang! 「職員非常友善、積極幫忙。」

「Great place, really cosy. Great location and awesome owner / staff. Best place we have stayed at in the last 2.5 weeks. Highly recommended」

「Such a nice place to stay. The guest house is really beautiful. A very nice entryway with a yard full of nice plants and flowers. The hosts and staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, offering plenty of suggestions about the old town and surrounding villages. They helped us as well finding and organizing the ressources for travelling around to traditional villages and the Snow mountain park. A huge thank you to Roxana and Leo for the wonderful experience.」

「The service attitude of this hotel is particularly excellent. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The price is also very reasonable and the value for money is very high. It is definitely an outstanding hotel that offers excellent value for money.」

「First of all, the hotel's location is very convenient—it's just a few minutes' walk to Lijiang Ancient Town. You can enjoy the atmosphere of the ancient town while having a quiet environment for sleeping at night, and you won't have to take any unnecessary detours when exploring the town. The alley is especially peaceful, completely away from the noise of the main street. Taxis can go directly to the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. Upon arrival, the staff take the initiative to help...

「Very friendly host and great people. Answer your questions promptly and helpful」

「Clean room with very comfortable bedding, great service, great location.」

「La atención que recibí es por mucho la mejor atención que he recibido en un hotel.」

「住宿非常乾淨整齊，工作人員服務很周到，早餐也很好吃，價錢合理，非常推薦！」

「Very impressive. The hotel is located at the top of the Old town which gives a spectacular view of the mountains. The room is comfortable and the free minibar is also a plus. The staff were willing to help but couldn't communicate in English which is fine because WeChat can translate everything. The breakfast menu offers a variety of choices but the portions are quite small so we had to order many times and the wait was a bit long. Highly recommended.」

「Excellent séjour au Lanshe Hotel. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins malgré la barrière de la langue. Le petit déjeuner est très qualitatif et la situation de l'hôtel parfaite.」

「Breakfast was traditional, but not on property had to walk to other property to eat, short walk, no safe in room to hold items, no iron, as stated 1 minutes walk to old town, property is in old town , had to call to find location, they came and walked us to property, that's why 4 stars , and local person said they have free shuttle to airport, he asked for me and had free shuttle ride the day I left ,」

「This hotel in my mind is average. Cleaness is average but definetly not as in the photos (the photos were possibly took when the rooms are new renovation). Fresh air? Don't expect fresh air, as many hotel guests or people nearby are smoking. Since this hotel is not entirely smoke-free, you'll have to settle for air tinged with the smell of cigarettes. For the location, it locates close to the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City and walking distance approximately 8-10 minutes. Quite a lot of...
