"We love everything about this hotel! From the location right beside the carnival in the summertime to the ease of walking to nearby restaurants and the beach! We also love the option of having both indoor and outdoor pools for our kids to play in if we don’t feel like getting sandy on the beach or if the weather is not ideal. This is the best hotel and our family will never stay anywhere else at Carolina Beach or Wilmington!"

"My family and I will NEVER stay here again! We were booked for two nights and the first night we were there, we had issues with our door and not being able to get in. Our shower would intermittently cut off and turn back on. Lastly, there was an incident in the room directly above us where the occupants got in a physical altercation and one of them was ultimately stabbed! The experience was extremely traumatic for my 12 year old daughter!!! Given that we had all these issues with our room, we were told we could check out for the second night since there were no additional more available for Saturday night. We were then told by management we would be comped for Saturday night! We never received our refund and the management was EXTREMELY RUDE when I asked about the refund and they kept punting the problem to the next employee! Horrible experience which is so unfortunate since we did actually enjoy our room."

"I h ad a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made it comfortable to relax after a day out. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the best parts of the stay was the location—being right on the ocean meant beautiful views and easy access to the beach. It was perfect for morning walks along the water. The hotel is also in a great spot overall, close to restaurants and local attractions. Another big plus was that the hotel is dog friendly, which made traveling with our pet so much easier. It’s always nice to find a place that welcomes your furry family members. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again."

"This was a great little place for my boyfriend and I for spring break! It’s right in the downtown and everywhere we wanted to go was walking distance. The owners were very nice and replied very efficiently, very accommodating with letting us park in the lot even though we arrived early for our reservation, and letting us add on a late checkout. It was nothing fancy but was clean, affordable, and worked perfectly for what we needed at a good price! "

"For the off season price, this had excellent value. Away from the busier part of the beach but very close to shop, dining, and beach. Had the pool been open that would have been nice but unfortunately the pool wasnt open yet. Would stay there again for a quick gettaway. "

"The room was clean and even had a broom for me to sweep up sand! You can tell the property was build in the 60s or 70s but has been renovated and is very cute. The location is perfect- right on the boardwalk and beach. Plus it was close to shopping and many restaurants. Our only complaint was the tiny shower with a shower head that is too big. We had to stand against the shower wall to get wet! But we will definitely stay here again. "

"The ocean was visible from our room. The room was "older" but clean and a great location. We added another night because we loved hearing the waves crash on the beach! Will stay again."
