Perfect base for an Austrian alp exploration

Friendly, helpful staff and lovely hotel in a good location. We received a family room which was good with separate bunk beds, making it more spacious than having a sofa bed. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Lots of selection, fresh and tasty and they kept replenishing it. The only drawback was it was quite stuffy in the room and leaving the window open meant early morning noise from the business below. They did supply us with a fan on request though that made for a comfortable night.

Not as advertised at all. No access to sauna They close reception at 8:00 PM You only get one key for the room … so there is zero flexibility for your vacation No gym I would save my money and find another place to stay in, there are plenty around the area

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr nettes und umsichtiges Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und frisch. Sehr schönes, helles Ambiente im Frühstücksraum und auch im ganzen Hotel. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und im Bad sind hochwertige Hygieneartikel, sowie ein Föhn vorhanden. Es gibt genug Parkplätze und sogar einen separaten Carport für Motorräder. Gleich nebenan befindet sich die Alte Mühle in dessen Biergarten man sehr schön sitzen und gut essen kann. Die Straße ist etwas laut, wenn man es nicht gewohnt ist, aber dann macht man das Fenster zu und schon ist Ruhe. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und daher nur für eine Nacht im Hotel.

Gute Unterkunft mit großen Zimmern und guter Ausstattung. Im Mountain Style. Sehr Aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal. Lage Nähe Talstation, ideal für Skifahrer, in den Ort läuft man 15min. Die Sauna ist auf einer Terrasse und gut für zwei schnelle Durchgänge. Im Winter allerdings kein Ruheraum oder Dusche verfügbar

Familienhotel in einer super Lage

Sehr gute Lage da ideal gelegen für Tagesausflüge. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und bieten reichlich Platz für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager. Das Frühstück lässt auch keine Wünsche offen.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt

Wir wurden gleich schon einmal überaus freundlich empfangen. Wir hatten einfach das Gefühl, sehr gut aufgehoben zu sein. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit Blick auf die Berge. In der Früh erwartete uns ein wunderbares Buffet. Es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. In diesem Hotel wird nicht nur auf Freundlichkeit großen Wert gelegt sondern auch auf Sauberkeit. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Great stay at Alpenparks

Had a great stay at Alpenparks, the hotel is easily accessible, has good parking possibilities friendly staff and very specious rooms. Breakfast was rather simple but covered all the basics.

Matrei Albergo

L'albergo è posizionato in una zona molto strategica perchè il territorio comunale comprende la catena montuosa degli Alti Tauri. E' situato a circa 500 metri dalla seggiovia che porta da Ströden, ai piedi del Großvenediger ai piedi del Großglocknermonte Steinfeld. A circa 900 metri poi troviamo la piazza principale di Matrei. Le camere sono molto ampie e pulite. La colazione è nello standard di questa tipologia di alberghi. E' possibile noleggiare biciclette elettriche per escursioni direttamente in albergo. Naturalmente ok WiiFii. Il personale parla timidamente qualche parola di Italiano.

Kurzes Wochenende in Matrei.

Matrei ist ein wunderschöner Ort, den wir sicherlich noch einmal besuchen werden. Das Hotel ist OK, Preis-/Leistung ist in Ordnung. Frühstück toll. zu bemängeln war nur: ein übervoller Aschenbecher am Balkon als wir eingezogen sind. Beim Frühstück gibt es nur Eierspeise, keine Zubereitung von Eiern nach Gästewunsch.

The location of the hotel was great. You are close to the ski lift and other businesses. Hotel staff were really nice. The beds were not that comfortable unfortunately. Rooms were tidy and breakfast was decent covering the basics.
