"Easy check in room clean, though there were no spare towels or blankets. Room had wet carpet from back door to bathroom door from rain coming under door. Carpet smells. Room big and spacious. Stretcher bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab. Otherwise ok for the price. "

"Absolute great vibe of a hotel. Checking in staff were super friendly answered all my questions. Exploring the place was a blast seeing all the snapshots of history in the hotel was great. The lift was a vibe if not a little scary though. A pain in the ass if some chum hasnt closed both doors and you have to go up and locate what floor it is on so my dad on crutches could get to the 2nd floor. Heating was not great for my room (the ther two were fine) I know ballarat winters are a different kind of beast but I asked for the heating to be fixed in my room (was told by reception was getting fixed that day) but alas it was not fixed for the two days I was there. Having to pay for on street parking for the duration of the stay was pretty poor. I'm already spending money on the hotel at least reserve enough parks or have a dedicated space for parking."
