What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful space, complete with delicious breakfast provided including smoked salmon, fresh blueberries and honey made by hosts. Bedroom and wet room (stocked with neal’s yard products) on ground floor open plan living room/kitchen upstairs overlooking downs. Excellent communication and very accommodating hosts, even dropped over toys for visiting child. Could not recommend highly enough. Can’t wait to return in the future. :-)

An excellent stay with great amenities.

We stayed at Marshlands Annexe for two nights to attend a wedding in Lewes. The accomodation is excellent and spacious, with fantastic bathroom amenities and breakfast items supplied. The annexe is completely private with a separate entrance from the main house. Offstreet parking is available on a private driveway with plenty of space. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, who provided lots of useful information about the local area. Highly recommended!

We will be back, love it!

We had an amazing stay at the Marshlands Annexe. The apartment/ one bedroom house is well laid out with all mod cons. Very spacious and well designed, it instantly made us feel at home. The view from the open planned living space was fantastic and we never got bored with it. The bed is so comfortable, I could easily have stayed in bed all day. The wet room was greatly designed and the shower, just what we needed after some long walks. Ginny and Henry are fantastic hosts and really comes naturally to them. They will have a chat to see how you are enjoying the trip without being intrusive. The breakfast hampers have a great variety of healthy options with a plus, homemade honey! Great location just outside Lewes with immediate access to a variety of walks and to the Downs. Lewes is not too far and best through the sports area of the rugby grounds. You can get to centre of Lewes in under 20 mins, Swann Inn in 8 mins, what else do you need.

Great weekend away

Such a nice place! Very clean, spacious and quiet. The view upstairs is unbeatable, such a treat to have a morning coffee watching birds and squirrels. Ginny left us a very generous breakfast box containing homemade honey and marmalade. Would totally stay there again.
