Relax after a day of activity in Cinque Terre
This small hotel located 10-minute drive uphill beyond Levanto town, gateway to Cinque Terre. It's a very comfortable place to stay after a day of activity. Rooms are spacious and with balcony / terrace. Furniture and bathroom appliances are modern and stylish. Staying here is just relaxing and refreshing. The owner couple are extremely hospitable, and do are their staff.

A great location and the proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel deserves 5 stars but I gave 4 because of a pretty active black ant problem in our room. We did not eat or have food in the room but they were all over the place. Definitely a beautiful place.

sejour de 4 nuits entre amis
sejour tres agréable dans cet hotel avec un accueil tres chaleureux et des renseignements judicieux pour les visites des 5 terres par contre restauration sur place trés chére à ne pas recommander ( exemple la salade de fruits frais servie au restaurant pour 8 € est la meme qui est servie tous les matins au petit dejeuner soit des pommes coupées non peleées ) il faudrait peut etre varier les fruits au petit dejeuner

A pochi minuti dall autostrada si arriva in hotel. Camere ampie , pulite, e comode. Curate ed arredate con ottimo gusto. Eccezionale la colazione dolce o salata abbondante e varia ,in locale con vetrate che si affacciano sul giardino. Davvero bello l'ambiente esterno in mezzo agli abeti. Personale assolutamente friendly, fantastici! Ristorante a pochi metri dalla struttura , stessa proprietà, ottimo (carbonara di mare favolosa ) interessante carta dei vini. Personale friendly cortese veloce. Bravi. I

Great hotel with convenience.
Absolute gem of a place. Very convenient but you need a car. Upon checking in the owner gave us perfect instructions on parking in Levanto and taking the train to the Cinque Terre towns. The hotel location is nestled in a quiet mountain forest area, so beautiful with free parking. Highly recommend this place. The only regret we have is we never set up time to eat at the owners restaurant located on property. Heard very good things.

Beautiful property only a 15 min drive down to train station with easy access to all Cinque Terre villages. We were looking forward to eating at the Michelin award restaurant but be aware they close restaurant on sun and mon the days we were there. When we arrived, we got a great reception and info from one of the owners which helped us a lot but absolutely zero support after this. No one around on the property to help after our initial check in. When we had a problem with the tv, we called them and they said “why do you need tv, this is not a 4 star hotel”- this was rude but we still enjoyed our stay as property is modern and in beautiful setting.

Dit hotels reeds meerdere jaren bezocht. Altijd correct. Diner mogelijkheid in het (relatief kleine hotel) is uitstekend. Ruime keuze en zeer ruim wijnaanbod.

Wonderful quiet place to stay and no steps!
Lovely place set in the mountain away from the noise of Cinqueterra. Michael and his wife and their staff were just awesome. Their restaurant was fabulous and an amazing breakfast was included. We had a first floor room so no steps yay! Michael made a great fire in the pit each night . A beautiful courtyard to enjoy drinks by the fire.

Pleasant stay
Room was modern and quite large. Bedding was too soft and uncomfortable, shower was very awkward and tv very small and difficult to use. Hosts were very gracious. Breakfast just OK. Location is beautiful and convenient to Cinque Terra train but requires a drive along a high and winding road.

Really nice hotel with big and modern rooms. Breakfast is nice. Staff is very polite. They will give you parking ticket with which you can save a lot of money on parking. Overall very nice experience

Beautiful property set in the mountains. The rooms are simple yet very comfortable with lovely views. We really enjoyed coming back here after our days in Cinque Terre. What sets this property apart is the owners. They set up a table for us to have picnics every evening with our families and children. They are extremely kind, fun and run a great hotel. Go stay there! There is no question we will be back!

Gutes Hotel
Gute Lage in der Nähe der Autobahn, allerdings hört man doch ziemlich die Straße, die in der Nähe liegt. Sehr saubere, große Zimmer, nettes Personal und für italienische Verhältnisse ein tolles Frühstück . Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist !

Hotel Abetaia
My son found the Hotel Abetaia in Internet after researching multiple locations for our trip to Cinque Terre. He knows I am very demanding with regards to places were we stay on business or vacations. In a nut shell, even though the Hotel Abetaia is not located in Cinque Terre it was worth the stay. It is located approximately 10 minutes by car to Levanto, from there you can take a train to all Cinque Terre locations. The hotel is manage and owned by a family; we were given family treatment from day one to the end of a seven day stay. Sonia, wife and cook runs the kitchen with outstanding queality food, we tried everything. The restaurant has a Michelin fork award, well earned. Michaelo the husband is a good sommelier as well as an excellent public relations person charming all customers. All the staff Lara, Marida, Tania to name some are also outstanding. For us it was an excellent experience and well paid investment to stay at the Hotel Abetaia and will return in the future.

Beautiful country setting
Excellent hotel with very clean, comfortable modern rooms. Restaurant has outstanding food with a menu that is predominately based upon the local fresh fish, although other options are available. Staff is wonderfully pleasant and helpful. Overall excellent base for touring Cinque Terre and region and also great value for money.

Our wonderful stay at the Hotel Abetaia.
The Hotel Abetaia is a lovely property, it reminded us of a country chalet. Sonia, one of the owners, is a great cook. The rooms are very spacious and lovely. While off the beaten track we had no regrets being at the hotel.

Moderne et bien aménagé
Emplacement situé en retrait de la ville. Très paisible. Les chambres sont modernes et confortable. Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour à Levanto. Petits déjeuners généreux et délicieux. Le restaurant de l'hôtel dégage une ambiance chaleureuse. Le menu proposé est varié. Il y a également un autre restaurant sur le même emplacement tout aussi intéressant.

Sehr schönes, stilvolles Hotel, leckeres Frühstück und auch das Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet, auch der Außenbereich ist sehr schön. Zentrum ist in ca 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen und es kann mit der Parkkarte des Hotels kostenlos am Bahnhof geparkt werden.

Das Hotel liegt einige km außerhalb der Stadt Levanto im Wald an der Zufahrtsstraße zur Autobahn - hört man aber kaum. Es hat ein sehr schönes und geschmackvolles Wohlfühl-Ambiente. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und modern eingerichtet, was aber nicht immer ganz pratisch ist - z.B. die große, nicht verstellbare Regendusche im Bad. Man sollte auch auf "Funktionsstörungen" gefasst sein: am ersten Tag arbeitete die Klimaanlage nicht richtig und am zweiten Morgen lief im gesamten Bad kein Wasser. Dies wurde zwar recht schnell (innerhalb von 2 Stunden repariert, war aber trotzdem ärgerlich. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein kostenloses Erfrischungsgetränk und viele Informationen zum Besuch der Cinque Terre, diese waren aber sehr allgemein, ohne besonderen Empfehlungen und Detailfragen konnten nur schwer beantwortet werden. Meine Empfehlung: gleich ins erste Dorf Monterosso fahren, Auto im Parkhaus abstellen und dann mit den Fährschiffen weiter. Von Levanto aus ist die Tour mit dem Schiff eingeschränkter und der Parkplatz teurer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit frischen Bio-Produkten und es gibt zwei ausgezeichnete Restaurants - ein kleines direkt im Hotel und ein öffentliches in der Nachbarschaft. Die Küche und die Weinauswahl sind auf jeden Fall die etwas höheren Preise wert.
