"The spa was way more than we expected –– an absolute highlight! Staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast and coffee/cake hour were lovely. Our only note is that the rooms themselves could use an update. The carpetting in our room was old and smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. If the rooms could have the same update that the spa had, this would be a dream hotel. As it is, it was still excellent, and we felt great for the value."

"This hotel was really lovely, and I had a great experience staying there. The town itself is beautiful, and the fact that the hotel provides passes to the swimming pool at a local club was a brilliant bonus. It’s not far from the hotel at all, and the walk there was absolutely lovely!"

"What an experience! This property was absolutely amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced … truly beautiful, unique, classy, amazing staff. we have stayed at some places that are comparable pricewise, also mountain retreats in the areas and Schloss far surpasses them all. A 10/10 all around."

"Our host was very helpful to get us acclimated to the area from USA. He really extended himself to assist us with directions to his property. Loved finding our room comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was healthy, lots of options from muesli to baked goods to delicious coffee. So enjoyed the remote setting surrounded by mountains, lush green fields and dense forests."
