"Im sorry to say that this hotel isnt as advertised. It is advertised as "luxury" with multiple indoor and outdoor pools, but you cant actually use them! The building is very old and tired, and far from the "luxury" hotel they portray. I booked this hotel specifically for a stay with my son as he loves to swim, yet once we had been allocated a room in the Refuge du Montagnard building we discovered we couldnt access the pools clearly advertised on the website. When i questioned this with reception we were told that its not possible. Ignore the pictures on the advert as they arent accurate for what you actually get. The hotel had a srong smell of sewage and drains, which wasnt pleasant. The location is very good, but sadly we wouldnt return."

"The appeal of this hotel is the location (Ski-in/out) and the price. Half board with wine and a premium ski-pass included for the same price as self-catering in Arc 1950. We visit Les Arcs for the skiing, so the single beds and tired rooms are perfectly acceptable. The food is varied and of good standard for the money. At breakfast, there are queues for the coffee machines, and they often run out of mugs or bowls, but this depends on the time and demand - It's really not a big issue. Don't go here if you expect a luxury experience - There's a five star hotel nearby if you want that, but it will be double the price and more, and the slopes are the same for everyone."

We were also impressed by how well they catered to gluten-free options, making dining both stress-free and delicious. A special shout-out must go to the ski room staff, who were fantastic and made the daily transition to the slopes effortless. If you are looking for a hotel that offers top-tier service while remaining comfortable and welcoming, this is the place to stay."
