「This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!! A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. 「The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... It's like a medieval castle: great boulders below, tiled roofs above, and an infinity pool looking out over the mountains. 「The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. We stayed for three days. The host arranged a driver to and from Colombo at a good rate. On the return day he also arranged a tour to local waterfalls before returning to Colombo. Excellent breakfasts and home cooked dinners」

「The bungalow which we stayed for our holiday is only six rooms. The butler and the staff provide excellent services which many luxury hotels can not do. Staying in this property, your butler has already arranged everything and you do not think about anything about your stay. What you need to do is to tell your butler what you want and he will serve you or give advice to you. Highly recommend to anyone who will visit the same place. The experience is worth your payment.」
