Tucked away

The stay was great, hotel was very quiet which is always helpful. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic. The hotel was a little tucked away from the main street which also helped with a good night's rest.

The room was clean and comfortable. Has a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is a little older but seems to be well maintained. The staff were friendly though not pushy. The only complaint is that it was listed as with breakfast, and that’s an exaggeration. We were there for 2 nights. First morning there was some muffins, coffee, some juice, some yogurt in a little fridge. Very spartan. 2nd day, a Sunday, only coffee. Inquired at desk and was told someone walked out from work the night shift, but there was staff there in the morning that could have put something out, but for whatever reason chose not to. If breakfast is limited, listing should state that, and if none provided should be communicated.

Our room was clean but had a bit of a smell to it. Beds were very comfy & we slept well. Only real complaint we had was breakfast the next morning... we went to eat at 8, breakfast was to be served until 9. The biscuits & gravy were all completely gone, the eggs had clearly been in the warmer too long, plenty of bacon but literally dripping w grease, milk was low & didn't have enough to serve our party. Worse part of all this.... not one person came to check out ask if we needed anything, in fact one guy finally came in to "check" on things but never asked us anything about having any food...

We experienced a possible bedbug situation. We found a small bug which appeared to be a bed bug, in the corner of the wall in the restroom. I had originally checked the beds, and typical places you would looked, but originally missed this-until the next morning after receiving a phone call from my in-laws saying they had left around midnight because they found one in their bed. As you can imagine, this ruins the entire trip causing us a lot of worry. Staff tried to accommodate by giving a small discount, but there is no peace of mind after that.

The bed was not comfortable at all and the fitted sheet kept coming off all night. The breakfast was just cereal, bread. And poptarts. Should've gotten more for my money. Sorry but i wont be staying there again
