We had a wonderful visit the property right on the fjord our room with balcony overlooking the fjord. The restaurant was excellent and breakfast was plentiful with nice selection variety. My favorite was the Lobby Bar with draft Heineken as after coming in from our days on travels seeing the local sights it was so refreshing having a cold beer relaxing on the balcony. The staff eas all so helpful and friendly. Hope to come back again.

The service was wonderful. Cozy and lovely facility. They had kayak rentals which was the highlight of my trip! Also the staff (Trine) and her father went out of their way to help us when my son experienced a medical emergency. All the necessary calls were made to schedule a dr visit and we were even driven to and from the medical facility. We will never forget their kindness.

Affordable and tradional hotel by Sognefjorden

Well worth the price, spectacular surroundings offering fjord views and a sense of being a member of the traditional hotels. You can kayak, take a sauna, a dip if you are hardy enough. The breakfast was lovely, as was the dinner. And King Harald Fairhair was born in the neighborhood!
