Not family friendly, people out at the pool drinking and being lod until 1am. Hotel need a lot of work next to hvac unit floor was soft and spongee on the 2nd floor, whole place smelt like a giant water leak recently happenef

The staff were great. The room was clean, but the hotel is older and could use a renovation. They did not have anything in the shop and did not serve breakfast. My main reason for booking this hotel was due to breakfast being served. The staff were great though. The amenities should be updated to what is actually available.

Comfortable bed but no breakfast

The staff was nice, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The property was a little run down and there was no breakfast at all but the was a note at the front desk

Closest hotel to FJLA. Safe/peace of mind with parking. No breakfast provided. Small fitness center. Coin laundry. Pool looked nice but excessive daily rains deterred me from trying it out. Maybe next time!

Family trip very happy.

Well, the overall stay was very nice. The hotel was comfortable. Had a pool unfortunately never had time to use the pool next to shopping area McDonald’s right across the street right outside the entrance to Fort Johnson Army base which is great. Now the hotel could use a little refreshing up, but the overall hotel to me was very nice. Very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. I slept like a baby is extremely friendly unfortunately they don’t have continental breakfast at the moment but the coffee is very good which is available 24 seven comparing to hotels in the area, I will give this a solid 4 1/2 out of five, but if they were to refresh, it would definitely get a five especially the continental breakfast was reinstated. I recommend this hotel.

Good Evening and thank you for the message. First and foremost, the lady at the front desk has provided excellent customer service. With that being said this may be my first time in a very long time staying at La Quinta and surprised at the following... -Ironing board was broken -No shower curtain -One of the remotes is broken with no batteries -No hangers to hang up the clothes after ironing The room is very spacious and clean but was surprised about those items above. Plus my view out the window is pool furniture at the bottom of the pool.

Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Staff was friendly but the smell of mildew was so strong, especially in the lobby. Elevator broke down and didn’t work for hours. No breakfast although it was advertised as having breakfast. Shower water pressure was awful. Location to base is the only reason I stayed there but won’t go back.

Honest review

The staff was friendly and helpful however, the hotel itself is an older building with a lot issues. It’s definitely not a 5 star hotel but just wanted to inform that it is run down. If you don’t care about looks, this would be good for you. If you do care about how things look and you do care about things being up to date… I definitely would not recommend to you. It was suitable for my family and myself though.

The stay its self was great, the only reason for the low stars is that there was no breakfast being served of all 3 days of our stay. This was one of the main reason for us booking with them. We were charged for that service and did not receive anything but coffee.

Its okay.

Roaches and smelly towel. The TV was zoomed weird so the sides of the screen was cut off. Location is close to the base so that is good if you are visiting Ft Johnson. Ice machine only on the 1st floor and we are on the 4th. Lobby smells like dirty rug. No breakfast. The room is clean. Plenty of extra towels but they kinda smell.

The staff was really nice and rhe facility was pretty clean. However, there was no breakfast as was advertised. No concessions in the lobby. The bathroom baseboards were unfinished. The bathroom light above the mirror was out. There were NO shelves in the standing shower. The bed was like a brick slab. There was no tissue on the roll when we arrived. The shiwer doir didn't seal, so there was water escaping onto the floor.

Review of this property.

The overall stay was very pleasant, staff was great, so the complaints are not against them it against the owners of the Hotel. However I do have a complaints. 1. IT TAKES 15 MINUTES TO GET HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER, IT WASN'T JUST ONE DAY IT WAS THE WHOLE TRIP 3 DAYS. The hotel looks great on the outside but really could use updating. 2. You advertise breakfast but do not have it. This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! If you are not going to serve breakfast then take it off your website. Instead people have to spend more money for breakfast. I do plan on contacting the Better Business bureau regarding this. Maybe then you will do something about this.

The rooms were dirty and pretty disgusting. There was food lodged in the desk chair, the desk top light had dust and grime all over it. The electric outlet by the bed looked like it had blood on it, ann it smelled disgusting. And that’s just the first room. I was moved to a second room where there were whiskers in the sink and under the vanity looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. My feet stuck to the floor by the desk and there was something sticky on the desk chair back. The coffee pot didn’t have the correct filter holder. Breakfast was disappointing. The only good thing were the people. The afternoon clerk was so nice and helpful. Definitely not recommending this place.
