Room was charming, if a bit dated. Breakfast served in the room in small kitchen area. Parking in the area is a challenge. We ended up about a12 minute walk in a parking garage, which was fine for us. There are a few spaces in a small courtyard. The owners are terrific! Helpful, accommodating, accessible. Overall very good stay.
Rented studio apartment, very large, 1000 sq ft, felt like a room in a castle with original columcs and arched stone ceilings. Super comfortable for 2. Great outdoor area with several seating locations for nice breakfast on sunny days.
Next to old town, market 100 meters away.
Ask for parking on premises (tricky manouvers) as the street parking always full. Basic breakfast provided night before. Overall great place with nice and helpful owners.
Our space was like a palatial home, surrounded by a sumptuous garden. It was made warm and inviting by Luisa, our host. Who worked to discover what we really liked and then sought to provide it.
Incredible room, great breakfast selections, walkable and convenient, excellent hosts and a gorgeous property. The addition of space heaters (since apparently they can’t turn on the heat at this time of year) would have been nice as the days and evenings (and the room) were pretty chilly.
Just across the street from the old town of Lecce. Very walkable. Room is pretty large and comfortable. Free breakfast. Hosts are super great and loaned us a guide book, showed us best places to go see Lecce, and gave a great dinner recommendation. Beautiful garden and parking is secure. Only negatives that I have is the bed was not the most comfortable and the shower was small (though water pressure and temperature were great).
Convenient location in historic building. Easy walking distance to train station and historic centre of Lecce. Enjoyable shady garden. Delicious fresh brioches for breakfast.
This place is a fascinating step back in time. Yes the kitchen and bathroom are small but the furnishings and ornaments are to a standard rarely seen in Airbnb properties. Sitting out in the garden eating a pizza was a delight. The owner was extremely helpful and being able to bring the car onto the property off the street was so useful. Do take time to look at the mosaics, yes mosaics.
Perfect location, perfect room, perfect facility, perfect service and owners.
We will return!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This property was superb in every way. The large bedroom/ sitting area, the well stocked kitchen. The complete cooking facilities, the wonderful large garden and places to sit in comfort. It was a peaceful, quiet sanctuary in the heart of the old city of Lecce and for an incredibly reasonable tariff. Impossible to give enough praise. The hosts were very helpful and serviced the rooms every day.
L'Orangerie is a delightful B&B run by its owner, Luisa, who has paid attention to every detail. It's a property dating back to 1871, with an orange grove and imperial staircase, where space is at a premium. Entering the B&B is like stepping from the modern world into an almost dreamlike one. My room was huge, with everything you need to have a good time. Breakfast is prepared on a table inside the room, with toast, homemade orange marmalade, and delicious local pastries. There are also yogurts and juices in the refrigerator. In my case, I parked my car on the property, subject to reservation. Any communication with Luisa must be done via WhatsApp, but it wasn't necessary in my case. I recommend this B&B if you're not the type who needs constant attention and consultations about everything. It's for independent travelers who prioritize silence, well-being, and a good location.
The hosts were most welcoming. It felt very personal and like being in their beautiful home. This truly is a hidden gem very close to the centre of Lecce. I would thoroughly recommend it. We loved our stay.
Great place to stay. Close to lecce historical and commercial centre. The owners are very helpful and allowed us to check in early. The garden is beautiful and a great place to relax. Although it's on a main road the rooms are at the back facing the garden so it's very quiet
One of the most lovely rooms we have stayed in. Location is good, just outside the old city. The people are really wonderful, really cared about our comfort and wellbeing. Some might consider the bathroom a little tight.
We really enjoyed our three nights here. the building is beatutiful and the garden a peaceful place to relax. Room was huge and historic with everything we needed and a particularly comfortable bed.
Location is good around 15 minutes walk from the station and close to all of our favourite restaurants. If you are feeling lazy the one over there road "203" is good and had an interesting menu.
Overall as perfect a B&B experience as anyone could hope for.
Great location close to lecce old town. Place was very clean and quiet with access to a large walled garden. Luisa the owner was really helpful and easy to deal. Would definitely recommend if you like old world charm. If you're looking for modern it's definitely not the place for you
A very stylish old house, with a superb garden in the courtyard. Although the gate is at a rather noisy street, you don’t hear anything in the rooms, except for the wee wee of the ambulances and police. Everything what you need is there, a very welcoming host is available and really taking care.
We LOVED L’Orangerie de L’Epoque. It is beautiful. A real Palazzo. The high-ceiling rooms are full of elegant details: embroidered ultra-white towels and linens, amazing sunny views from the BEAUTIFUL inner courtyard a super yummy breakfast. But perhaps the best part is the warmth and friendliness of the owners & managers. Just one-of-a-kind accommodation that makes you feel both like a royal and a welcome family member.
