"Property was close to town which was a bonus. I didn’t get the room I booked, instead they gave me a bigger room, but the room smelled of burnt bbq, and the shower had no hot water. No staff were around to talk to about it. I ended up leaving a day earlier because I couldn’t stand the burnt bbq smell … that seemed to be coming up through a vent or something. "

"We liked the location the beach was absolutely beautiful, What we didn't like was the fact that there was no dedicated reception and the staff did not speak English. The internet was poor the room was good the shower had hair in the drain. The service in the restaurant was poor. the breakfast didn't have a very good selection and the language barrier was a problem."

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast buffett was lovely and our room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The only advice I have for management is to ensure the WIFI is fast with no buffering from all rooms. However this was not a major issue for us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly for young couples and business travelers."

"Our stay at Tanoa was amazing. Our room was spacious and clean, the staff are all so friendly and provided great service. Breakfast options was okay but loved the egg station where you can request how it’s made; so good and hot. The only con was their beef burger for lunch was lacking and juice at breakfast was never cold enough. Location is great, the sea wall is right in front of the entrance and the shops are within walking distance. "
