very disappointed to find behind all the advertising we were staying in a potentially lovely park environment but in a corridor of rooms and a rather small dark room in an expressionless hotel block!

Beautiful setting. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Pool nice but changing rooms so small with no changing cubicles and no explanation on how to use lockers. First ‘superior room’ was damp and poorly maintained but quickly moved us to a much nicer room (same grade). Disappointed that there was no fridge or robes in the room

It would have been 5* if we hadn’t been put in a tiny room at the furthest point from Reception…it was a real route march up and down short flights of stairs.

Room is dirty, we found a kids dummy underneath the sofa and rubbish behind the bed. The daily room service gave up on the kids bed after the 2nd night and didn’t make their bed. Shower gel pumps were broken in the shower. Breakfast was very limited to a basic buffet at best.

Nice hotel, but two problems: Signage is useless in the dark. I drove past the entrance twice before asking locals for help finding the entrance. The room was too hot. The windows only had a small section to open, so no breeze could be captured to cool the room - this was not in any heatwave and outside temperature was a pleasant 68 degrees. It's the window design that's the issue and they need replacing with properly opening ones.
