「The Chateau is stunning, our check in was very good and our room lovely. However, to be clear, although it's marketed on websites such as Hotels.com, it is not a hotel in the traditional sense. There is no service provided at all apart from an average, 'self serve' breakfast. The photos we saw online of beautiful pastries unfortunately did not materialise. There was a coffee machine in our room, but no coffee! We had to go down 3 floors to find a coffee pod, for which we were charged extra. I...

「Spotlessly clean. Excellent staff. Pool was covered for our stay. What made this stay memorable was the restaurant attached. One of the best 3 course meals I can remember and unbelievable value for money. Fantastic wine list to boot. If you stay here you must try the restaurant. The hotel was not busy but the restaurant was full. The breakfast in the separate hotel dining room was only average but acceptable. The bed I found much too hard so I did not sleep that well. 「Extremely rude, unhelpful and unprofessional Hotel management - do not stay here if you want a hotel to care about your well being. On arrival yesterday in a heatwave of 40 degrees the air conditioning was not working on our room. I raised this issue with the manager as it was unbearably hot and uncomfortable in our room. The property is advertised as having air conditioning. When I asked for a fan or any other help, he just repeatedly assured me it was working and refused to actually check...
