Das Personal war toll. Über das mangelnde Nahrungsangebot war ich informiert und habe im Gasthof Brandt gesessen (fußläufig erreichbar). Fernseher in Briefmarkengröße und mit gefühlt drei Sendern, alle ÖRR, wirkt 2023 aus der Zeit gefallen. Echtes Manko war der braune Fleck auf der unbezogenen Seite des Doppelbetts.

Das Doppelzimmer war mit 2 Beistellbetten zwar etwas eng, aber für eine Übernachtung völlig ausreichend. Das Bad war ganz neu und alles sehr sauber.

Lauscha is an old city that is struggling. The hotel is very nice, the hosts are great. The town has few dining options

Not a hotel!! It's a B& B

To me you can't call it an hotel if you do not offer evening meals and have no bar. It is a bed and breakfast!! The area surrounding the hotel is not nice and the rooms look dated. There is no lift and has stairs to enter.

Lovely glass town

Although hotel was very nice, access was a challenge since the street in front of hotel was all torn up. Parking was perhaps 100 meters but we got by just using our carry ons. Hotel was inviting although room and particularly bath were tight. Had lovely breakfast included in room price. Although no lift, we had only carry ons and just one flight of stairs.

Zentral in Lauscha

Persöhnlich geführtes Hotel mit gutem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Bad neu gemacht, Zimmer wirken etwas unpersöhnlich sind abergeräumig und comfortabel.

Comfortable stay

The hotel is managed by a family, easy check in with parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was average for a small village hotel. Very close to the glass shops that the region is known for. We would use this hotel again if we were in the region. Several other couples were also staying at this hotel.

First time in Lauscha

We arrived later than expected at 10 PM but the lady was kind and helpful. Her English is not so great but that never kept her from trying and helping. The restaurant tastes great, food is fresh, quaint and comfortable. The dinner chef is awesome!! The rooms are clean and basic. Bring earplugs in case you're on the street side, because it gets busy in the morning! I will stay again when I return to Lauscha.

OK hotel

Hotellet er ganske udmærket men bærer præg af mange års brug, værtsparret er yderst serviceminded og morgenmaden ok dog ikke prangende. Hotellet ligger centralt i byen og ganske tæt på glasbutikker og glasværkerne.

Prima kamer en ontbijt voor de prijs. Sauna was buiten gebruik. Dinner was middelmatig, niet veel groente en gebakken aardappelen te vet en keukengeur drong zitruimte van het hotel binnen, niet aangenaam. Goede omgeving als je van kerstdecoraties houdt. Deze zijn het gehele jaar door in het dorp verkrijgbaar.

ON SE MOQUE DU MONDE !

Nous étions de passage pour une nuit en famille dans cet hôtel qui indiquait un sauna et spa. Il y avait bien un panneau indiquant un spa et sauna sauf que cela donnait dans la cave des propriétaires ! La chambre prévue normalement pour 4 personnes était extrêmement petite et très vétuste (les lampes de chevet était en gaine électrique. Il annonçait du WIFI qui ne fonctionnait absolument pas. Les propriétaires ne parle que l’allemand et ne sont pas vraiment sympathique. Si vous allez dans ce coin de Bavière oubliez cet établissement !
