Beautiful small rural town in Switzerland. Area was a nice break from the mountains & tourist attractions in Switzerland. The view is absolutely beautiful.
Nettes Hotel an wunderbarer Lage. War geschäftlich unterwegs, leider hat das Restaurant Ruhetage, welche auf der Webseite nicht aufgeführt sind. Dies ist der einzig negative Punkt.
This hotel is far from everything but on top of a hill (beautiful countryside view) in a very nice forest surrounding. Surprisingly on friday night there where many people (probably from Bern) who came to have dinner in this secluded place. The staff were very wellcoming and helpful. They let us have half board for free, as there was apparently a mistake on the voucher (on which it was written half board instead of breakfast). The normal room was simple but confortable. If you stay more than one night, you can enjoy many beautiful warks in the surrounding woods.

Secluded panorama hotel
The hotel is situated on a remote hill top with a magnificent view. The best is to come by car. The hotel is renovated and our superior room was very cosy albeit small (this is not NYC or Hong Kong). The furnishings in the room are very functional and stylish. All of the staff are very friendly except for the receptionist/owner who is edgy. They can do fast iron service for a fee.
Negatives: receptionist/owner, no iron availble for guests either in room nor at receptio (a first for any hotel I have ever been too, considering this is a 3 star hotel where prices are well above 200 USD not acceptable), no tea/coffee making facilities in room.
We stayed here with family and enjoyed a beautiful room with stunning views. The hotel has recently remodeled the rooms with tasteful décor and comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing with all the tasty European breads and pastries. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
We stayed two nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are recently remodeled and are clean and fresh. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The soft sound of cowbells in distant fields adds a real Swiss feel to the location. The view of the valley below is amazing. If we are ever in the Hotel Moosegg general area we will go out of our way to stay here again!
Modernes Zimmer mit Blick ins Grüne und auf die Berge. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Die Küche ist traditionell aber neu interpretiert. Es stimmt rundum alles.
