Top Latas Waterfall Hotel Reviews
Hosteria Terra Luna Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Where do I start.... the hotel is located in the jungle and the approach to it is a little amusing as you have to drive over a very colourful single lane suspension on route. And then you are travelling along a dirt road that makes your thoughts start to question your judgement but then..... the hotel appears as a gem set within the folds of the surrounding jungle. The hotel is very spacious and the architecture is very fitting for its location. The room we were renting was very nice and comfortable but then my wife spied an executive room. We checked this out and after seeing this room we upgraded. Not because we were disappointed with the room we had booked but because it was a very special trip for us, a journey of a lifetime travelling Latin America, and we wanted a little luxury. The room was huge and included an area with a settee and an armchair facing the full glass doors that led out onto your own private balcony which overlooked the beautiful gardens. Inside there was a jacuzzi with his and hers washing units and a lovely shower to wash off the aches and pains of the day. The hotel staff were few but they made you feel comfortable and very welcome, always smiling and ready to help you in whatever way they can. We took a taxi to an animal rescue centre, Amazoonico, which is deep in the jungle. This trip was fantastic needing a car ferry across a large river and then a high speed canoe trip up the Amazon river, it was an unbelievable time."
Gran Hotel Palmar del Río
10/10 Excellent
"Pool and jacuzzi were maintained daily and it was the perfect way to finish off the day with a couple of beers. Alcohol and snacks are sold half a block away. Breakfast was decent, staff friendly and there is enough parking. Make sure to close the windows at night unless you want to be awaken by roosters at 5am."
Hostal Tena Ñaui
8/10 Good
"Nice big rooms , clean crisp sheets and comfy bed. Efficient airconditioning and close to everything "
