This hotel is better than many hotels considered more “posh” that I’ve stayed in. It’s by far the best “economical” hotel I’ve stayed in. Night staff is exceptional. All basic amenities provided. A very homey feeling, wonderful, friendly hosts who have a pot of soup waiting for weary travelers upon arrival.

The staff was friendly and very welcoming. I loved the complimentary soup and cucumber/lemon water in the evening and the cheese omelets at breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay
We had an extremely pleasant stay here while driving up to a wedding in Colorado. The staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean and modern, and breakfast was good with several options to choose from. Not sure what more you could want. Would definitely stay here again!

I have mixed feelings. The property was set back from the road and no where near the highway which made it very quiet. However, it wasn’t very well lit and I felt a little unsafe going out to our truck after dark. There was also not much to offer for places to eat. I did sleep very well!!

Hello Lesley, thanks for the feedback. However, we do not have carpet in our rooms. All rooms have wood laminate floors except for our handicap accessible which is not pet friendly. We wish you safe travels!

Even though it is an older style motel it is very well maintained and comfortable. Great extra touches like art work everywhere and free gumbo in the evening. Also, staff was great.
